I used to love Smith Brothers but since the dairy was forced (by the gov't) to be separated from the service, there have been problems. To me, the milk tastes watery and when I tried the organic milk, it tasted really off -- we couldn't drink it. They're constantly pushing their other (over-priced) items for sale. My guy isn't as friendly. It must cost him for the "icebox" 'cause he never brought one when we got rid of our outside frig and just left the milk out in the weather. They've charged me "interest" twice (later removing the charges) and pointed to a written policy on their statements that makes no sense... due 15 days after receipt, late fee charged if 30 days past due... yet they charged me when the milkman couldn't find the check and didn't get it until the following week -- 16 days late. And their "interest" is 12% per annum, interest charged on milk? What's with that? Their eggs used to taste farm-fresh and have that bright gold color and we frequently got double yolks. I recently compared them to some from Safeway and there was no difference. So I've quit with Smith Brothers. I didn't need the aggravation of the weird billing and we can just as easily get good milk when we need it from the nearby groceries -- plus, for the price, I can get better eggs at Costco. Too bad -- I liked Smith Brothers Farms when "Hill" was our milkman -- the milk was good and the eggs were truly farm-fresh.
I was astounded to read the previous review. Everyone has their opinion, but as mine is quite different from that other, I thought I'd offer it for comparison.
Rick Graff at Graff's Automotive had done lots of work on our cars over the years and we've always been pleased with the work, the service and the value.
My daughter had a problem with her Nissan Altima a few weeks ago and he got her car right in and fixed quickly as she was in a hurry to get over Snoqualmie Pass. Right now, an old Ford Explorer of ours is at Graff's -- and Rick has been super easy to work with. This is the closest thing to a neighborhood repair shop and he's been in business for years. THAT doesn't happen by chance.
Note: l've seen our local firefighters bring their private vehicles to Graff's. Surely they could go wherever they want, but he's got a good reputation with them... and us.
