We always attend the Newton Carnival at the YMCA on Memorial Day weekend. My kids love it and so do all of their friends. Its a Pay One Price deal, which saves a lot in the long run.
The Helm has been around forever, apparently for a reason. They have consistently good food, with a very friendly, casual atmosphere. Its great after a day at the beach or on the boat,.
If you like pizza with a nice, thick crust, than Raimos is for you! The pizza is really good; I have not dined in the restaurant in quite some time, but do remember the food being delicious and reasonable.
The whole staff here made my children feel comfortable and they made going to the dentist an enjoyable experience for both of my girls. They also took the time to explain everything to both my children and to me. AND, they took my insurance!
I've been very satisfied with the doctors at this practice. I prefer Dr. Cohen and Dr. Caravella. They are great with the children, they take the time to explain things and they seem to cover everything. The staff is helpful and accomodating.
Dr. Goldman is friendly, courteous and professional. He delivered my first baby and I felt confident with him as my doctor. Both of his offices are clean, the staff is friendly. The downside is the waiting time.
I love Dr. Wagner! He delivered my second child and he is very professional but at the same time he is friendly and makes you feel very comfortable. His office is clean, his staff is friendly and he explains everything to you. The one downside--the wait is usually longer than I'd like.
My daughter attended this dance school for a year when she was 4. The staff was not very friendly and the end of the year recital was a nightmare. Besides the expensive costumes, the DVD, the flowers etc., they made the girls all wear hideous make up. I wasnt thrilled with the idea, but put some light eye shadow on my daughter as requested. While backstage, they put tons of blue eyeshadow and red lipstick on her. She was 4! The instructor kept saying they needed the make up to look beautiful...not the message I am trying to portray to my 4 year old, thanks.
My 2 daughters have been going to Huntington Gymnastics for a few years now. They have a great program for younger kids that is fun but they are also learning and exercising. The staff is very friendly; unfortunately, over time, there has been turnover, but hopefully the good instructors they have now will stay!
This store has a huge selection of books, a cute little cafe and a fun section for the kids. They also have fun activities for the kids on their monthly schedule, and I don't know how they do it, but they get so many famous authors in to speak!
