Avoid Valerie if you value your sanity and your money! Very sloppy in both her personal appearance and her hair styling techniques, talks behind her client's backs (has done so numerous times in front of me), and has issues with telling the truth and with taking responsibility for her mistakes (will try to blame you for her incompetence). Has given me two botched, totally sloppy hair relaxers in a row and angrily and irrationally refused to give me a refund when I finally wised up and asked for my money back. Will rush you out of her chair and the salon before finishing what you scheduled her to do if she's not in the mood to do it (or is incapable of doing it) or so that she can start on another customer.

The salon is great, stylish, and courteous. I don't even live in the area anymore, and every time I visit I make an appointment to get my hair fixed from people who just cannot cut and color the way they do. Make an appt. you will not be disappointed.

They tried to charge me 15 dollars more than the listed price and I didnt even get anything special like designs. I had asked what the price was before I went in to make sure and then at the end it was a completely different price. Then they tried to act all confused like they always charge more than what is listed. The worst experience ever.
