Garibaldi Of Columbia
Garibaldi's always has exceptional seafood offerings, a nice wine list, and excellent waitstaff. I am never disappointed here, and can count on impressing out of town visitors with Columbia dining when we visit here.
Mai Thai cuisine
I first fell in love with Thai food when a Thai college buddy of mine cooked for me in the mid-70's. Now I've fallen in love again, this time with this neat little unpretentious restaurant that features flavorful sauces, fresh vegetables, and mouthwatering entrees. The prices are reasonable and the service is impeccable.
Win China Buffet
The buffet is usually well stocked and is loaded with average to above average offerings. For a buffet, it's pretty good, and the price is very reasonable.
Touch of India Express
It's a lunch and weekday only eatery, but what a lunch, and thank goodness there are five days in a work week! You can't beat the meals, service, or price, and it's such a friendly spot. If you crave great Indian food, this is the place to go.
Indian Grocery
This is a great store for vegetarians who have an Indian twist to their palate. Patel's offers fresh vegetables, wonderful spices, and an amazing array of snacks you won't find anywhere else.
Aladdin Mediterranean Cuisine
This is actually a grocery plus take-out that used to be a full service restaurant. As long as someone else does the cooking, I'm OK with that. I love browsing through the spices and other products here. Everything is very fresh, and you can always get all the help you need locating a specialty item.
Oriental International Market
It's a combination you probably wouldn't expect--Asian plus Jamaican--but that's part of what makes coming here such fun and brings the variety to a whole new level. They have an extensive array of African and West Indian cuisine items along with their Oriental products, all at reasonable prices and supported with great customer service.
Hyundai Oriental Grocery & Gft
The selection and prices are quite good, but what makes Hyundai so outstanding has to be the wonderfully personal service given to every customer. If you are looking for a particular sauce, for example, you will be given helpful suggestions on other sauces that you might like as well. It's always an enjoyable experience shopping here.
88 Oriental Market
If you're looking for hard-to-find Asian spices and food items, this is the place to go. It's housed in what was formerly a paint store, and the well displayed, wide variety of products make it easy to find what you need. Prices are comparable to other local ethnic groceries.
Pasta Fresca
Don't let the outside throw you off. Although it gives the impression that it's not going to be an exemplary eating experience, one bite of the food will tell you you're mistaken. They make fresh pasta and sauces daily, and their reasonably priced menu will keep you coming back, and I love how they will adjust their dishes for you. The staff is SO friendly, you feel like everybody's one big family.
