What a great place to do business. The staff is friendly and fast with their quotes.
We recently decided to look for a new insurance carrier. Our previous company was in Oregon and sold out to a bigger company located in the southern part of the U.S. I asked a friend for a referral and he sent me to Pickett. Thank you Terry!
Our new agent placed me with a Washington based company that handles both our cars and home. Our insurance rate was reduced considerably and when I call I talk to a live person, not a voice mail that often can land me in "voice mail jail".
I first met Nancy Kinzer in 1994 when looking for financing for unconventional construction. She was FABULOUS! Found that loan, for a very reasonable rate, and wouldn't be without her services when buying or refinancing a home. I've used her services several times now.
I live 40 miles from her location and the last time I used her we did our entire business by email and telephone. She picked a title company within a mile of my house and everything was wrapped up in less than 3 weeks.
Call Nancy for your real estate financing. You won't be sorry.
A unisex establishment that's been around for years. The businesses around it come and go, but Tangles (formerly known as The Stables) has been there for years.A small shop with reasonable prices. The staff is small. All are friendly and Diana is GREAT! My only complaint would be that she's not always there on the days that I want to come in. The shop is open in the evenings to accommodate those who work or go to school during the day.Prices, for that area, are reasonable.
The Rose Boutique is the closest flower shop to my home, however it's location goes unnoticed and that's too bad.
The shop is delightful with many ideas for decorating. If you're not in the market for flowers, the gift shop is filled with unique books and gifts.
I bought a great cook book with recipes submitted by local farmers from this area.
Visit Rose Boutique, it's worth finding.
Recently I received a floral arrangement from Lady Bug Landing. I'd never been in the shop before, because there is one a little closer to my home. The flowers were absolutely beautiful with a signature lady bug on the petal of one of the daisies. The delivery person was delightful. After several days I decided to visit the shop. Unique gifts are also available at this quaint little shop in an area called Dollars Corner.Give it a try.
I recently purchased a "stressless" chair from Koplans Furniture. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. I wanted a particular color and the sales person was quick to tell me that it would take some time to get the color and model that I wanted. She made no attempt to try and talk me into something else.
I'd been to several stores in Portland to avoid the sales tax. Koplan's knows their competition and was happy to pay the sales tax if I would keep the business in Vancouver. I did!
It took several months to get the chair, but well worth the wait.
Recently we were looking replace the siding on our house. We researched several contractors and even talked to one about removing the siding and going with a stucco. Our experience with Cavanaugh was amazing. The first thing Mr. Cavanaugh told us was that only 2 sides needed to be replaced. There was nothing wrong with the other 2 sides and he explained why he felt that way. Totally different from the other contractors. With replacing siding with new vinyl on 2 sides and painting the entire house with 2 custom colors, we saved over $7K.Cavanaugh started the job when he said he would. His workers were neat and cleaned up each day before leaving. The job was completed on time and best of all, we were able to hire someone from our community. Cavanaugh is now our construction company and we will hire them again for any future jobs we might want done.
Great location when traveling from the freeway to the Mountain. The staff is friendly and the prices are right.A frequent buyer card is available and after 11 drink purchases the 12 the is free. Drinks are served hot or cold. Recently they started using the "java jacket" which I appreciate, since I like my Chai Tea quite hot.
My favorite scrapbook store! The staff is always helpful and very friendly. Store hours of operation are convenient. If this store doesn't have what I want, they are always willing to call the Milwaukie store to see if the product is available there.
The card stock colors are absolutely amazing.
Paper prices are less expensive here than at the large retail craft stores and the inventory is amazing.
Irby's is probably the BEST restaurant in Battle Ground. The food and service measure up to any 5 star restaurant in any big city. Prices are very reasonable.
The place is small, so a reservation is recommended.
