Quantum Stone did our granite counters for us in our newly remodeled kitchen. We selected our stone down in Portland and from there, Quantum picked it up - took it to their shop and prepared it for installation. The owner, Dan Haney, is a true artist. He takes great pride in his work. We got a couple of other quotes but fortunately for us, we chose Dan. Pricing was comprable among the various bids we got - and I can't remember now why we went with Quantum - but thank heavens we did. They did an outstanding job on matching the seams on what was a very challenging piece of granite. We are very happy with the work they did.
I've been seeing Dr. Matovich for about 3 years now. He is very knowedgable and has always done a great job. His staff, well, aren't most dental hygienists all about the same? Friendly, perky, big on flossing? All very nice. Scheduling can be a challenge just because they are very busy, but once you're a patient and you can schedule regular check ups, it makes things easier. I would highly recommend Dr. Matovich and his staff.
Both myself and my MIL see Dr. Datloff. My MIL has seen him for some pre-cancerous spots on her face, which he treated with a cream - great results. I saw him for what I thought might be skin cancer (wasn't) and then later for a planters wart on the bottom of my foot. He's an "east coast" type personality - so he may come across as a bit abrasive at times, but that's just his personality. The man really knows what he's doing - and has really helped both of us with our various skin issues. I would highly recommend him.
The Lubisich's regularly do presentations at our kids pre-school to help teach the kids about good dental hygiene. I can't remember if that's how I heard about them or not - but in any event, we have been seeing them for about 3 years now. Their office is way fun for kids. Bright, open, lots of toys, games, movies, coloring, etc. The dentists (a father and 2 sons I believe - maybe 3) all work together. All of the dentists and all of the staff are extremely friendly and great with the kids. My kids actually get excited when they have to see the dentist!!! And when my 6 year old had to get a filling, it was done with absolutely no pain - no problems - no fear. She still LOVES to see this dentist!
I was blessed to have been sent to Dr. Lange when I developed symptoms of rectal bleeding. Despite my age (43 at the time), she immediately set me up for a colonoscopy which detected stage 3 colo-rectal cancer. She has since performed 2 surgeries on me, both with excellent results. She is a small woman with a giant heart. Her surgical skills are excellent. And she cares very, very deeply about her patients. Should you ever find the need for a colo-rectal specialists services, you could not be in better hands than in Dr. Lange's.
I saw Dr. Schneider for radiation treatment of colo-rectal cancer. He is an exceptionally kind and caring person who truly cares about his patients. His support staff - radiation techs, nurses and so forth are all very nice people who do all they can to help get you through the treatment process with as minimal side effects and pain as possible. They work hard to accommodate your schedule and get the patients through quickly so no one has to wait an excessive amount of time for their treatment - and do an excellent job at it.
Our kids have been seeing Dr. Nopachai for 3 years now. She is very thorough in her exams and great with the kids. Sometimes we have had to wait longer than we'd prefer, other times we're in and out very quickly. We were not terribly impressed with some of the office policies early on, but they seem to have gotten past some of the "growing pains" of a new business as time goes on. The doctors here also see adults and I've since signed up with another one of the doctors in this practice for myself (Dr. Ly), who is also excellent. I have friends whose children see some of the other doctors as well - they are all very good.
I found this gallery because my friends and I like to meet at the coffee shop across the street. I would browse in there afterwards. I found some art work that I thought would look nice in our remodeled kitchen. The owner brought the art to our house (in Battle Ground), hung it up for us and let us keep it for the weekend (secured by a credit card) to see if we liked it before we bought it. If we didn't like it, she would come back and pick it up - no charge. We did like it - and purchased the art work along with a few other things. The owner is very low key - not pushy at all, but she is available to offer advice and assistance as needed. Very nice shop - I would go there again for sure!
We went to Orchard's Cleaners after our former cleaner stained the under arm areas of my husbands business shirts. They said it was "body odor stain" which made no sense since they had been cleaning his shirts for almost 2 years previously with no problem. We now think it might have been a new deodorant he was using that didn't mix well with the chemicals they were using. In any event, we weren't happy with the response we received, so we set out to find a new cleaner. The owners of Orchard's Cleaners are Korean - appears to be a family owned business, but they speak English very well and we have had no communication problems with them. At times they have called us at home to ask questions about our order. Their pricing is "average" - no bargains, but they do good work. If you need something quickly, they will do everything they can to meet your deadline. And they are open on Sunday's which is nice. We have been very happy with their services.
Between our two children, we spent 3 years at Little Acorn Pre-School, despite living in Battle Ground. We felt it was worth the drive to have our kids attend this school. The director and teachers have years of experience and it shows in their programs. If you are considering a pre-school for your child, I highly recommend a visit to meet with the director, teachers and tour their facility. Classes do fill up quickly - and enrollment for the fall semester starts in February or March, so contact them early.
