I had my car into Desert Collision after a rear end collision. I took it here because the top would not come down and it was the only certified body repair shop in town. I think my estimator lacked experience because his estimate and the associated repairs only fixed the costmetic items. I went back becaues of a noise and was told it was the tire protector flap "because I hit parking bumpers" and sent on my way. My regular BMW dealership service revealed serious structural damage that would have been the result of an accident and very unusual treatwear on the tires. Desert Collision took it back and hooked it up to the alignment machine (that they supposedly used before) and fixed it again. I had similar problems with delays but my calls were generally returned and the agent I dealt with is no longer there. I I had to return, I would ask to have Jim and Terry assigned to my vehicle as they appear to be more knowledgable than the team I had. Mostly I am upset because Desert Collision sent me down the road on a vehicle that would have eventually blew a tire if I had not had to get my oil changed under my dealership maintenance plan. Very disappointing.
1/1/09 visit to the Blue Diamond NV Kohls was disappointing. Generally I have like Kohls very much and it was one of the few department store credit cards I maintain. One of the reasons I like it is because you always leave feeling like everything you purchased was on sale. I have literally purchased thousands of dollars woth of merchandise from Kohls, most of it "on sale" so I am very familiar with their price mark down procedures. On a recent visit merchandise in bedding (pillow covers and pillows) were very poorly labeled. We went to purchase pillows and they were $20 more than the sign appeared to read. I went back to the rack and upon closer inspection the whole series of pillows were poorly identified and the product price identification label was inconsistent with the actual cost. My fiance and I asked to speak with the manager, Tito and basically he was condenscending and unhelpful. Technically the product rang up accurate according to the bar code but the sale sign, the product description on the packaging and the location of the sign via the product was poor at best and downright misleading. We did not purchase the pillows, but did purchase the pillow case covers which were also marked 50% off. Pricing was not consistent with remarking to reflect the reduction or 50% off the as marked price but rather somewhere in between. My experience with Kohl's is that they do not bother sale marking most things and the reduction is taken at the register and is usually consistent with the signage. That was not the case on this purchase however. All in all, poor performance and poor customer service on this day in this department and in this store.
We also could not locate a person to assist us with a question in Kitchenware so we left with out purchasing that item.
