Cafe Loma
Located in central San Diego in the Midway area, this was a nice spot to go to after a long day at the swap meet. The food was fresh and good. Serverss were friendly. I would recommend stopping by and checking this one out.
Sculpture Garden Cafe
How can you not have a great time eating amongst the coolest statues in San Diego. Though a limited menu, the sandwiches were fresh and the drinks refreshing. I loved being outside and looking around.
Mr. Frosty's
I've been going to Mr. Frosty's for over 20 years. Family owned, it has that feeling of going back to the 50's and walking up to the counter to get your vanilla "dipped" cone. One of the few places that still has dipped cones. Beware, it is so good that the lines are long on hot summer nights.
Big O Tires
They have been around in PB for so long that they are one of the only trusted places. They will sell you exactly what you ask for without trying to get you to pay more.

I found the prices to be competitive and the tires of quality. However, I was disappointed as I sent my husband to get one item and the salesperson had convinced him to get a higher priced tire.

I used this contractor over 20 years ago and still call if I have problems. The owner is very attentive to my needs. Though semi-retired, he is helpful and knowledgable.

La Basil Thai Cuisine
I have been to La Basil Thai Cuisine two times and had enjoyable meals both times. I like how you can tell them just how spicy you want the food. Also, great atmosphere.
Kafe Yen
I go to Kafe Yen at least once a month. It has great food and a good variety. I especially like Tofu gone wild. Make sure you tell them exactly how spicy you want your food. It is delicious.
Thai Village
This is my daughter's favorite restaurant. It has great food in a small, family run environmennt. Also, it has an ample menu for vegetarnians. They really know how to cook tofu!
