A very good Chinese restaurant. Many choices and prices are reasonable. Competition in this area is stiff, but they seem to draw the business. I attribute it to the good dishes.

All the dishes are all good. I always have liked their egg foo yang. The quality of food is good and the prices are reasonable. The area can get busy especially on the weekend - but its fun to go there.

A good place for dim sum adjacent to china town area. Good quality food and friendly service/ Can get a little busy at lunch time but not horrible.Parking can be hard to find.
Las Maracas
A good place for lunch while you are down town. Don't look any farther.Good food and they also cater.Convenient - Just off of Pershing Square on Broadway.

What more can you ask for. A nice place to have lunch. Family style Asian food just a good restaurant. Try it you will like it. Call in advance for take out.
New Capital Seafood Restaurant
Many good entrees. Valley Boulevard is known for the Asian restaurants. You wont be disappointed stopping here. A good lunch stop. Friendly staff and good food. Reasonable prices - cant ask for more.
Tacos El Unico
If you like Mexican - you wont be disappointed. The food has an authentic home cooked taste. Out of the way but just off the 710 freeway. Worth the stop when driving from Long Beach to Alhambra.

A friend of mine had a printing business on Atlantic Boulevard. He would always take me to lunch here when I visited. The food is authentic and home made good.
Bamboo Panda Chinese Restaurant
Great place for lunch. Glendale location is close to much shopping and entertainment . The food is very good. We are extremely lucky to have so many good choices to eat. This is one of the best.
Chung King Restaurant
It was a surprise - food was very good and price was reasonable, . The service was good, and the food was excellent.
I think the owners are new to the area but they should do well here.
