My parents have gone to her and her dad forever. My parents moved to Oregon but still come out to see her every 6 months for cleanings and any work.I've tried two other dentists that were closer to my house and work, but both of them tried to sell me all kinds of extra stuff. One found all kinds of stuff wrong that needed to be done and the other just tried to talk me into a bunch of cosmetic stuff.I went back to Dr. Herndon and she gave me the straight stuff (yeah, work COULD be done, but don't need it now - wait 5 years easy - if ever).I like her because she doesn't seem like she's trying to make her boat payment off of me. As a kid I liked her because she just didn't hurt, not I have higher expectations.Prices are lower (compared to what my friends pay) and the office is super low-key and really nice. I hope I don't end up moving out of state as the plane fare might make the prices less of a bargain (but my parents still think it's worth it - of course they get to see me too!).
Excellent food and very nice atmosphere - though I don't think my waistline would like it if I ate there often.Service has always been good.A little noisy for a quite date, but not filled with screaming kids either. Nice for a small group or casual date. And there are almost always leftovers.
It's that simple!
Great tasting burgers (not the BEST I've every had, but still REALLY good).
Prices very low - excellent value.
Clean on the inside.
The only downside is they get very busy sometimes and the wait can be up to 20 minutes (doesn't sound like long, but you're just standing there... seems longer).
I also understand they take really good care of their employees (compared to the fast food restaurants that me and my friends ever worked at). Kudo's for that!
I went for their MMA stuff, but they had all kinds of karate uniforms and pads too. But its not pretty inside - clean, but not flashy like a store. Obviously not any points for looks. It seemed a little weird that they don't have a cash register, but the guy I bought my gear from pointed out they are a warehouse, not a store (but they did take my credit card). The prices were UNHOLY good for the quality! I almost gave them 5 stars just for that. I found them only because they have all kinds of great customer service reviews and was really happy to find out they are local. They lost the fifth star because they are hard to visit. They don't have anything like regular hours so it's tough to catch someone there (if you read this - sorry guys - that's the way it is). Especially trying to stop by after work - when I wanted to. But I caught them on Saturday, so it worked OK.But when you do manage to get in there, they all know what they are talking about and are super nice.
Everyone I've ever dealt with was VERY nice and helpful.Prices and selection great. Prices for dog food is quite a bit lower than Petco - worth the drive to me.
I go there for art supplies and they have a decent range of supplies - I thought it was better than Michael's for _art_ stuff, but not as big of a selection. More of the middle to upper range type stuff.LOTS of frames to pick from too.And the people I've dealt with have always been nice and helpful, but not always that knowledgeable.
I am pretty picky about my Chinese take-out. Maybe more so than lots of people, but they do a really nice job here.
This is a TAKE-OUT ONLY place. A couple of chairs in front to sit at while you wait for the food, but the whole place is one big kitchen.
They usually have the food ready in 15 minutes or less and the prices are very reasonable. Also a very fair portion of food.
Most of the items I've tried were good (lemon chicken wasn't so great).
You can see right into the whole kitchen when you pick up your order and it's clear that the place gets LOTS of use, but it's kept clean too.
I won't give them "5 stars" since that seems a little over the top for a take-out place, but as long as their prices are low, I don't see anything they need to improve.
I've belonged to lots of gyms over the years and I am really happy with this one. They do an excellent job of keeping the place clean (at LEAST one person is on duty all the time JUST CLEANING the gym). When something breaks, they fix it right away.
The pool seems really nice (I've never used it, but I've never seen it completely full either - though it does get used all day).
Locker rooms are always very clean.
I don't use daycare, so I don't know what the deal is there (ages, price, etc?) but the people running the kids seem pretty nice.
But best of all is there's a large number of all types of equipment, lots of free weights and LOTS of room, so you don't feel crammed into the place, even when it's busy.
They share a parking lot with the bowling alley (though "technically" you aren't supposed to park there - there's ALWAYS a spot somewhere).
Very good, I just hope they manage to keep the price down as that's the only thing that would blow it. They're on the top end of the range now - at least for me. But there is a bit of that "get what you pay for" - even so, if it goes too high, I know I'd find somewhere else.
