BHM Golf
Do not order from this guy. He misrepresents everything on his website. He doesn't have a store--my guess is that he just takes your order and your money and then tries to find the product on ebay or some illegal source and then sends you something close to what you wanted.
Hoffman Technologies
A very solid Small and Disabled Veteran-owned business in California for many computer accessory products. Very good pricing and the owner is a pleasure to deal with.
Irg Plotters & Printers
These guys are a well-run small business for printers and plotters. They know their industry and pleasant to deal with. Pricing is fair and they're a reputable firm.
Ken's Clothing & Gifts
They are right next to the market. It's a great store to send the kids while you go through the grocery. It has all the local tourist souvenirs like postcards, caps, shirts.
Ken's Market
I've been going to this place for 40 years off and on most summers. It's the best and largest market in the area. They have everything you need for local camping.
Hungry Hut
The Hungry Hit is a regular stop anytime I'm at or passing through Shaver Lake. Lots of benches outside for the family. The burgers and fries are great and the kids love the swirl ice cream cones. The place gets very very busy around lunch during the season, so expect a wait and just relax and enjoy.
Shaver Lake Hardware
These guys have a well stocked store for either the camper who forgot something or the RV'er or local who has has a repair. If you're heading up the road and think you need something, I recommend stopping here because there's not much to choose from further on in either Huntington or up at Edison Lake.
The Otesaga Resort Hotel
I loved this pace. If you go to the Baseball Hall of Fame you must visit this hotel even if you stay in a local B and B like we did. Beautiful views, the lake is close, and the food is wonderful. The best French Onion soup I've ever had.
Pot Holder Cafe
I like the Pot Holder. This place has a timeless feel to it. Walk in and it could be the 1950s, 60s, 70s, etc. The food is fine for both breakfast and lunch. It's a good comfortable local place.
E J Malloy's
If you're in the mood for good fish and chips and an evening outside on a patio with a fire-pit, this is a great place. They have a good bar as well. The popcorn shrimp are great with a micro-brew here.
