My trip to Covered was perfect in every way down to the lovely shopping bag I carried my purchase away in. According to the website this place is mostly about jeans, I stopped in and looked at everything but jeans. Lots of cute tops and dresses. Plenty of things under $100. I purchased a top for under $60. Such great customer service. The saleswoman greeted us as we walked in, and was very friendly and helpful.
Ivy
This is a pretty high end, fashion forward clothing store. It carries a lot of designers that one wouldn't find at a department store. The clothing is unique, but expensive. The owner and staff are fantastic, friendly and will work with you to find what you look best in.
Borealis Yarn
Borealis is really great! They have a fantastic selection of yarn. Prices are great. They also have a rewards punch card, which can add up really quickly. The thing that really made me love the store was the employees. Everyone on the staff knits so they know what they're talking about. They can help with projects, yarn selection, choosing a pattern, just about anything.
The Bead Monkey
Beads, beads and more beads for you crafty people who want to experiment in jewelry making. It's a great place for beginning or experienced jewelry makers. Don't let the name fool you; they have great cards and unique gifts, too. They also offer super cool classes in jewelry making!
Our Little Secret
Our Little Secret is a must-stop shop! They carry a great variety of incredibly cute accessories at really affordable prices! The staff is really friendly and very helpful!
Guthrie Gift Shop
The Guthrie's gift shop carries, you guessed it, lots of Guthrie items; clothes, hats, candies, magnets, etc. They also carry a lot of show specific merchandise. The other miscellaneous items are beautiful. The jewelry is exquisite. The decorations and kitchenware are fun! Beware: it can be spendy, but they often have sales going on.
Design Collective
The clothes are all made by local designers, many are one of a kind. A lot of the pieces are exclusive, so you can't even see them anywhere else. For people who like to look good AND different. Sizing can be an issue since they sometimes carry only one piece in a certain design.
Bluebird Boutique
Great clothes, unique accessories, but the service is truly deplorable. It has become quite obvious that unless you are a friend or regular (or maybe both), your business is not important.
La Rue
There is no better place to find amazing jewelry and mouthwatering clothing. I go whenever I need a pick me up or something pretty. The sales assistants are also welcoming and creative.
Lava Lounge
Love the styles. Very unique selection of more exclusive brands. You won't see yourself walking around in any of these items. Every time I've worn something from Lava Lounge I get a ton of complements. It's a great store for those who like to dress creatively. With high prices and great styles, it's very easy to drop a lot of cash here.
