This is a little paint shop off of Sweetwater road in National City. They have a lot of paint to choose from. The employees are really nice and parking is easy to find. There are other paint shops around the block but this one is the nearest and best one for me to go to. I would recommend coming here for painting your home.
I was just at this hotel. The hallways are really narrow and the elevator is pretty small. However, the rooms are nice and big. The beds are very comfortable. I was inside a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room and it was nice. They provided a living room, a kitchen, and air conditioning! It's near the airport so it's a nice spot to go to after arriving on a late flight.
These apartments are average. Standard apartment complex. Not too bad of a location. It's in the middle of almost everything like the hospital, stores, and the freeway. It's a hard place to drive into and if you have extra cars, you may have to park your car along the sidewalk. Parking on the sidewalk can be difficult because of all the cars driving down 8th street. If this is your last resort, go for it. I'd keep it in mind and keep my options open.
This is a great spot for a quick burrito or taco. Their meat is tender and their tortillas are nice and hot. Their carne asada fries are really good too. The prices aren't expensive at all, very reasonable for its taste. The employees are pretty cool. I usually get the lady as the cashier and she's quick to punching in my order in the machine. I'm usually in and out of that place with the quickness. At times my fries can get a bit soggy but majority of the time the fries are nice and crisp just how I like it.
I would get my hair cuts from Armondo. He seems to know how to cut my hair the way I ask for it. A lot of barbers/hair stylists usually don't cut it exactly the way I wanted it to be. The prices are affordable and the staff is great. Only downfall is the parking.
This is the best place to buy sushi in National City. They have good sushi there. The sushi chef's are really cool. I enjoy eating the tempura shrimp and fried shrimp. Their miso soup is good too. My friends like to order the sushi party platter. It's a pretty good deal for 20-25 pieces. If I'm lazy to drive far for sushi, I'd come here. They even have good house chicken!
I like ordering the hot pan de sal here. Sometimes I would order a combination meal. They also sell cookies and pastries. The employees are pretty nice. The dining area is not too bad either. Overall, hot pan de sal is the thing to buy here.
This is by far my favorite place to get carne asada fries. They make it with perfection. The quality of their food is outstanding. The meat is nice and tender. The fries are crispy and tasty. The tortilla is nice and soft. The actual area is nice too. It's like a separate food court in the middle of a lot of stores. The employees are really nice. Once you become a regular, they will notice you and welcome you every time you come in.
I went here looking for an ukulele to buy. They didn't have what I was looking for but they had some nice guitars for sale. I ended up checking out the guitars. The deals were reasonable and the employees were really helpful. They were down to earth and really nice. I'd come back here if I were in the Carlsbad area and purchase a guitar or some guitar accessories.
This place is an average taco shop. The meat in the carne asada fries usually has a lot of fat in it so it ends up chewy and hard to swallow. The prices are ridiculous and not worth it in the long run. The employees are pretty nice and eating inside is not too bad. I would recommend driving a couple blocks further for a better taco shop.
