Humphrey Mortuary
I've been here a couple of times for viewings of loved ones. The workers are all nice and respectful, especially when it comes to the grieving families. It looks small from the outside and parking is very limited, but once you get inside, it's actually bigger than you think, very nice and comfortable.
Planet X
A decent sized video game store, but sometimes gets very crowded due to small aisles. I usually stop by here looking for highly anticipated new release games, because GameStop is usually sold out by then. I also come by because of the used games.
Appliance Parts Ctr Inc
My dad sends me here every now and then to buy parts for our home appliances. The last time I came, I had to buy some parts for our old washing machine. The guys that work there are all knowledgeable and told me what the parts function was, because I sure didn't. Great place to go if you need any advice or parts for some appliance repairs jobs.
Stereo Warehouse
This is yet another car stereo shop in Chula Vista. They have a wide selection of speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, and all of the accessories, cables, parts, and such that you need to get them installed. I went in here when I was in the market for a new subwoofer. They had pretty decent prices and the staff was very nice. They even had the top brands in the car stereo world at prices cheaper than the commercial stores like Best Buy. So it's well worth a look if you're into upgrading your car's stereo system.
Glen Abbey Memorial Park and Mortuary
My family holds most of the viewings or our deceased loved ones here. The staff was all respectful in our time of grief, and made sure the arrangements went through easily. The place is well maintained and has several different rooms for multiple viewings. They have one big room which takes up about half of the place, and 2-3 other smaller rooms. The parking lot is also pretty spacious which is a plus for my big family.
Optimum Floorcare
This is the best place to buy cleaning machine (vacuum, floor polisher, etc.) accessories or repair parts and services. My dad had me come by here a couple time to grab some parts for a floor polisher he was building and for vacuum bags for our backpack vacuum that we use for our cars. They were quick to show me where the parts were and the prices were pretty low. The guy that works there is friendly, and they have almost anything you would need to clean floors.
Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
The service here is pretty fast, and the employees are nice. When we had to repaint one of our car bumpers, we brought it here. They were able to match the color perfectly with the rest of the car, and the price of the service wasn't bad at all. If I ever need my car to be repainted (which might be soon) I'll more than likely come here first.
Family House of Pancakes
I've been here a couple of times. The food here is pretty good and they give you big portions, at least for me. Particularly a fan of the pancakes, but I don't necessarily like the hash browns. Service was average, and parking is very limited.
Atlantis Laser Tag
This is fun place if you want to get into friendly competition with friends. The employees are fun and are all about you having fun. The price isn't too bad. I've been here a couple of times with friends, and we always have a blast.
Oak Outlet Plus
Oak Outlet Plus was where we got the coffee table in our living room. It's held up very well and was a pretty good price compared to the commercial vendors at the time. All the furniture there seemed very sturdy.
