Pet plaza has a good selection of pets and pet accessories. They're very good and helping you pick out fish, birds, dogs, cats, etc. They have tropical fish, salt water fish, and amphibians. I usually go to buy some goldfish for when they end up dying in my aquarium. They have great prices and the more you buy, the bigger the discount.
Ufo-Upholstery Fabric Outlet
This is the place to get fabrics for upholstery. The warehouse is full of huge roles of fabric and bigger than usual sewing equipment. The staff is very helpful at showing you which type of fabric is best for what you need it for, and showing you your different options.
La Barata
If you're in need of cheap give-a-ways for those big events (weddings, baptisms, first birthdays, etc) then this is the place to go. They have different selection for everyone, and will personalize ribbons for you to add on to the finished gift. However, the shop is kind of cluttered and it's hard to find things in there, but it's a good place if you don't want to spend a lot.
L & L Coin Laundry
I've come here a couple of times with my mom when we need to wash blankets and the closer coin laundry was full. They have a bunch of washers and dryers and it's pretty well maintained and the bigger washers make it a breeze to wash 4-5 blankets in one cycle.
Paradise Valley Produce Market
My family goes here all the time. They have cheap prices on vegetables, fruits, asian spices, noodles, rice, and other snacks. They also will buy some produce from you, I go with my grandma every month or two to sell some calamansi. The staff is great and always happy.
Datsun Auto Wrecking
I've come here numerous time with my dad to find some cheaper parts. They buy cars that have been in accidents and such, salvage the individual parts and resell them at used prices. The parts are used, but when you don't want to pay 4x more for a dealer or wait a week or two for the part to be delivered, they're the place to go. They offer parts for almost any car out there.
Collision Parts Warehouse
My dad and I have gone to this place to replace a few damaged bumpers, doors, headlights, and other bigger car parts that aren't sold at most car parts stores. They have a wide selection of parts for almost every car I could think of, and they offer prices at a fraction (sometimes less than half) of the deal prices. It's a great place to go if you don't have the $100s to spend repairing your car that has recently been in an accident.
Groundwork Bookstore
Located in Mandeville, the Groundwork Bookstore is home to textbooks and general books alike. Most teachers opt to have their books sold there rather than the bookstore, and at cheaper prices.
Ball Honda
Ball Honda parts department is great, everytime I go there for parts for my Civic, they help me get the right part from a mere description of what it looks like. The staff is very knowledgeable of car parts and have decent prices compared to other Honda dealers.
Mossy Nissan National City
My dad has me go from place to place finding parts for the cars that he fixes. Mossy Nissan is one of the places I check for when he has a Nissan to fix. The parts department staff are always nice and fast at helping me find the right parts my dad is looking for. Unlike most dealer places, Mossy Nissan has decent prices, and a good selection of car accessories.
