I've been going to this doctor for about 10 years now and though they've downsized a bit, the staff is still friendly. The receptionists always greet you by name and make you feel comfortable while you wait to be seen. The nurse's are all helpful with whatever you need, and make sure they get all of the information on your visit before the doctor even comes in, making the visit fast and painless.

I only go to Frank Toyota for parts. The guys there are always friendly and helpful with finding the right car parts that I need. Although, because they're a dealer, the parts are sometimes pricey and are just above the quality found in most general parts shops. But all in all, great service and good deal especially when you have a student discount card.

Nelsons is a great photo shop if you're a beginner and professional alike. The staff is very knowledgeable and help you with whatever questions you may have, showing you options to fit your price range. The selection is awesome, and as a student they offer a 10% discount.

Alan's Music is the best place for beginning music enthusiasts. They offer options on renting and buying instruments, and always make it easy for you. The staff help fit you with the perfect instrument and also have a TON of sheet music and instructional books to get you started.
The repair service is one of the cheaper places in town and they always do a great job.
Worldwide Auto Parts
My dad always makes me drive around San Diego looking for parts for the cars that he fixes. One of the cheaper places I go to is Worldwide. The staff is always friendly and knows exactly what I'm looking for. Sales and returns are always done with ease.
La Jolla Kayak
The online rental of La Jolla Kayak is fast and easy. When in store picking up a couple of surf board rentals, the staff got me in and out with ease, and ready for the waves.
