I used Home Depot to install carpet in my condo. Overall, I was very pleased with the service I was provided. Home Depot had a huge selection of carpets to chose from, and the price they quoted me was competitive. It was easy to make an appointment for installation, and the team who actually installed my carpet did a good job, and were respectful. In the future I would consider using other Home Depot services when my home needs an upgrade.
Natural Body Spa & Shoppe
I do not recommend this location of Natural Body. Go to the one in Morningside - it's 100 times better! A friend of mine and I made an appointment here to get hot stone massages the day after running a marathon. We were excited for months about the massage! When we got to our appointment, the receptionist told us that there therapist that was trained in hot stone massages wasn't working that day (even though we had appointments specifically for that service). We both had to get a different type of massage - it was disheartening!
Natural Body Spa & Shoppe
This is my favorite spa! I've been to another Natural Body location, and also to Spa Siedel a few times and this one is the best by far. If you are a runner, ask for a massage by Briana. She is a runner herself and knows exactly how to make your legs feel better. I've had deep tissue, standard massage, and a couples massage here and all have been wonderful!
Highland Urgent Care & Family Medicine
I originally went to Highland Urgent care when I had tonsilitis, but liked Dr. Beaulieu so much that I've made him my primary physician. This facility is so convenient because you can use them both as an urgent care hospital and also as your regular doctor. I have been back 3 times in the last 2 years and am always pleased.
Snap Fitness
The people that work at this Snap Fitness are very friendly. They are around to help anytime you need it. The gym is not usually crowded so I can always get on a machine if I wanted. There are not any free weights, but they have a pretty decent selection of machines. Overall I really like this gym, because it has a small and community-like feel to it.
PETSMART
This review is for the Banfield Hospital within PetSmart. We've taken our cats there twice, once for fleas and the second to have their health checked. Both times we were very pleased with the service we received. The vet was very informative and kind, and offered us affordable solutions.
My former vet seemed jaded and was not compassionate when treating my previous pets. In the future I will continue to go to this Banfield location, as I trust them and am happy with their services.
Great Clips
I often get my hair cut at Great Clips when I want a simple haircut. My hair is stick straight, so sometimes I don't feel like paying $50 at a salon when all I want is a trim. I always had good experiences with other Great Clips locations or even at Hair Cuttery. However, I've had several bad experiences at this location on Ponce - so bad that I've quit going.
One time the lady sprayed water in my face, instead of my hair. Two other times my hair was not even (and it's easy to tell since my hair is so straight). I would not waste my time going here if I were you, otherwise you'll end up having to come back - or even go somewhere else - to have the mistakes fixed!
Highland Nails Inc
The ladies that work at Highland Nail always do a great job. Their basic pedicure and manicure are cheap, and of high quality. The salon seems sanitary, and usually isn't too busy. They do walk ins, as well as take appointments. I like this place so much I used them for my mani/pedi for my wedding!
Atlanta Spine Ctr
I went to see Dr. Vargas as a result of back pain (why else go to a chiropractor, right?) I've had scoliosis since I was a little girl, and as a result my back muscles get very sore. Dr. Vargas was always very friendly, and walked me through my strengthening exercises. He was always able to explain to me how each exercise helped me, and also explained problem areas while viewing my x-rays. I now have a better understanding of my pain, and know what to avoid to keep it from getting worse, as well as what to do to make it better.
Also, I never had to wait in his waiting room (he was always on time). I would recommend his services to anyone with back problems!

I went to Piedmont Podiatry to get fitted for orthotics. Dr. Patel, and the receptionist, Michael, are both very nice. However, for all 3 visits I waited longer in their waiting room than any other clinic or office I've been to. Also, the process for getting reimbursed for my orthotics (through my insurance company) was a pain. I had to call Piedmont Podiatry several times to check on the status of my reimbursement. I know part of that is the fault of my insurance company, but once I confirmed that my insurance company had approved my orthotics (and being told by Piedmont Podiatry that my check was in the mail), I had to call back a month after not receiving it. I finally received my money, but I wasted a lot of my time in their waiting room and making phone calls; I'll probably go somewhere else if I need this type of service in the future.
