Satisfactory Thai food in National City in my opinion. I've only had the pad thai & I thought it was tasty. Inside it looks really elaborate and nice because of the decor. I just don't like the shopping plaza it's in because it gets really busy.
I think the ARC is one of the nicest gyms I've ever stepped into. I took a "field trip" here for a weight training class and I would definitely come back as a regular member. Just imagine all the free things that come with the membership! Definitely a great deal for SDSU students.
I absolutely love this store! I love music boxes/snow-globes so this is perfect. They also have themed ones from musicals like Phantom of the Opera, The Wizard of Oz, etc. If not for the collectors, there's also a selection of toy music boxes and toy musical instruments (like a xylophone) for kids. Definitely a place to stop by if you're in seaport village but remember to watch your kids in here!
This is like ... THE only Japanese market that's not in the Asian community north of I-15. It's a really small place so they pretty much have basics for groceries and pantry items. I usually purchase snacks and onigiri (rice ball) making ingredients (good seaweed and seasoning packets) and/or ingredients for miso soup. The only thing I don't like is that they close early, sometimes as early as 4pm. I think they're closed Mondays, too.
There's candy EVERYWHERE! It's a kid's dream come true, really. Even their apparel and other misc. items they sell is candy related. Chocolate covered pieces. Fruit candied pieces. Variety of M&M colors. Gift candies, everything!
Very friendly and informative when purchasing a car. I just don't understand why it's always a 2 hour wait, no matter what time of the day you go, to get your car serviced for an oil change and checking out the rest of the car.
Great place! My friends and I would always go here for birthdays because it accommodated those who were allergic to seafood and others who don't even like sushi. Service is great every time I come and decor is nice. The atmosphere can feel pretty hectic on a busy Friday or Saturday night, but it's still a fun place to go to.
I only like Swirly Cup because it's set up like Yogurt World. Self-serve frozen yogurt is the best! I like having total control of how much of everything I put in it. I still think it's kind of weird how they have a Nintendo Wii for customers to play with but if that's what they need to generate business, I'm all for it! It was fun!
This is probably one of the best places for Japanese-crazed fans like myself .. when I was a teenager and still into Japanese manga/anime. They have manga, DVDs, wallscrolls, tons of cute stuff like toys, stationary, etc. etc. I can never resist stopping in whenever I happen to be at Mitsuwa.
My favorite place for $1 fish tacos! It's really small inside, definitely not a great place for a group gathering. I have yet to try other things on the menu but I wouldn't mind.
