The Groveland hotel is our favorite getaway spot! or as a stopover on the way to Yosemite. the featherbeds are to die for. rooms range in size and price. restaurant is unexpectedly wonderful!

I recently had lunch with my sisters there on a Sunday and had a great salad. It was so big I had to take half of it home! mysisters all had burgers that were huge and looked wonderful. The service was quick and courteous.

this is a unique restaurant for Hayward. the food is excellent, but overpriced. they have an extensive wine list that is also overpriced. parking is very difficult due to the location. This really belongs in San Francisco or someplace more upscale.

great local bar with different style of music everynight of the week. my only complaint is the lack of choices in wine that they serve. many microbrews to sample at responible prices
Giorgio's Pizzeria
best pizza in San Francisco! family atmosphere that you can take your children to. they have other dishes besides pizza that are excellent. prices are good for the area with large portions.

Dr. Penner has been my dentist for years. I have a fear of dentist, but he is quick and careful. he lets you know exactly what he is doing before he starts. His staff is helpful and friendly. highly recommend!!

Venticello Ristorante
we had dinner there for a special occassion. The food was delicious. Menu was rather limited, but everyhting looked wonderful. prices were reasonable for san Francisco . beautiful view out of the fron t window. seating was a little cramped as the restaurant is small. parking can also be a issue. all in all I would highly recommend for a special anniversary or birthday. if from out of town you could walk from some of the nearby hotels.
