The 59 Diner is a step back in time. Greasy (in a good way) burgers and crispy fries. Malts and shakes too (love the cherry shake).
The Deck House Bar & Grill
We went to Vito's with some friends for an evening out. It is a sit down place, but feels more like a bar. They had a menu, which offered a lot of "bar" food---fried things. It was tasty. This would be a good place to go with a big group and hang out---not a date place really.
Star Furniture
We have purchased many items for our home at Star. We have always been pleased with the selection and the prices. We have had good experiences with the staff as well. Financing is easy too.
Zio's Italian Kitchen
My kids like to come to Zio's. We have been coming since they opened and while the prices have risen, it's still a reasonably priced place to take the family for dinner. I love their artichoke sauce. The portions are huge---we always have enough for a lunch the next day. Sometimes is noisy and the wait can be long on a weekend, but overall a good little Italian place
The Teaching Cottage
WHile I didn't find what I was looking for, this store is chock full of workbook materials for school age children. It would be a great resource for a homeschool family too.
Lakeshore Learning Store
This store has something for every school aged child. We find educational items that are fun too. We have purchased many Christmas presents here. They have unique board games and a great science section.
Pete's Fine Meats
Chopped beef sandwich and the cream cheese stuffed jalepenos are great. Awesome tamales too. The bread is outstanding.
Hilton Long Beach
My husband has been staying at this particular Hilton in Long Beach for 9 years. He has always had remarkable service and a pleasant stay. The staff is great.
Acute Events & Catering LLC
Acute caters dinners at the Opera and other theater events at Wortham. The menus are always varied and the food is always good. Michael and his staff are super attentive too.
Louis' Bait Camp Bar & Grill
Completely remodelled after Ike, very nice inside. Great service, friendly people. Great burgers. Great place to wind down after a day of fishing.
