Finally! An honest mechanic that knows his stuff! After years of being lied to and cheated by other car repair shops, I finally found a great one! It was love at first visit. I had taken my car to my regular inept mechanic because it had conked out for no apparent reason. They said it needed a carburetor adjustment. Even I knew that was not the problem, and asked them to look it over. They fiddled with the carburetor for a minute and sent me away. It died again. I decided to try Stallion, which had recently opened. This guy barely opened the hood and he knew the problem. There was a 2-inch section of timing belt with no teeth. I was sold. They are honest, knowledgeable, and the prices are more than fair. I won't go anywhere else.
Update: Update, 1-28-2012. Still totally happy here. They never insult my intelligence by claiming my car needs anything it doesn't. If nothing is wrong, they will tell me so, and if there is a problem, they will properly diagnose and fix it. That may sound like common sense, but it is very hard to find. I am a loyal customer for life.
I do not care for this store. I shopped there several times. There were bugs on the loose cookies, and dried dog pee on the floor. When I asked an employee for help with food, he seemed put out. The selection is good, and the prices okay, but there are nicer places to go, which I will.
I love this store! They have premium pet food and treats, even hard-to-find items, the prices are better than the big-name pet stores, the store is clean, and the people are friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for?
