Reames Market is your local one stop shopping. They make delicious hamburgers (the old fashion kind), is a gas station, grocery store and bait stand. I have even seen local farmers with their vegetables there - like a farmer's market.
Ask for Albert. A great store to work with. Many catalogs to order from, if you can't find what you are looking for in the store. Can get the same brands as other stores, but a much cheaper price.
The Buffalo Grill has good country cooking. It is a small menu, but they do have specials every day at lunch. Friday night is special night as well. Very nice and friendly wait staff. I would give this little cafe a try.
This store will beat prices from other stores on the same item and brand. Have a large selection of catalogs available to order from. Very nice employees. Ask for Jason.
Have difficulty getting the same stylist two times in a row. But if you can get Mary, she remembers how one wants their hair cut, time to time. Worth a try. Ask for a senior discount.
Owens Funeral Home is run by Dick Owens - a very caring man. We have had to use his services twice and could not ask for a more caring and compassionate person. Our families have been well taken care of by this business.
Steve's Nursery is a family owned business - mother, son and daughter. They all are very knowledgeable about plants and anything to do with plants. Carry organic items and a very good selection of seeds.
Lafayette's is a relatively new restaurant. The menu is small, but the food is fresh. In the warmer weather they have a very nice outside patio, with nice picnic tables. Nice wait staff.
If one is looking for home decorating fabric - this is the place to go. Nice selection of home decorating trims, as well. Also, does does reupholstery of furniture. Reasonably prices.
I loved the art that I purchased here. It was framed beautifully. Mr Orison took the time to help me put the matting, glass and frame together into a beautiful piece.
