Jon Lovitz Comedy Club
This is a great comedy club. The location itself is inside Universal City Walk which can be kind of a nightmare, but once you finally get inside it's a nice club and you can be part of the action from anywhere the two levels offer seating. There are two bars that were hard to get to, but I suppose you should be watching the show rather than going to the bar.

Amazing ambiance in this building. It's old with a clear storied history, but well kept and updated while maintaing the charm of a place with a story.
Diddy Riese Cookies
Best place in Westwood for a fat pill! I've got extra meat on my side to prove that this place is amazing. It's really cheap and really good. They put ice cream between cookies... what else do you need to say?
Jerry's Famous Deli
This is quite possibly the most over priced sandwich I have ever eaten. The food is good here, so I suppose sometimes you get what you pay for. It's always crowded and the service is OK at best.
Lax Firing Range
Good quality range all around. I took my girlfriend here to try some different styles to learn what's best for her. The staff did a great job of making suggestions and giving advice. I've been back several times myself.
Ada's Italian Tailor
I came here to get a military uniform altered on short notice. Although this is not their area of expertise they were able to take my instructions and did a great job.
Headlines Diner & Press Club
Great lunch menu if you're into old fashion burger and fries. Has the greasy spoon charm of what I imagine a cafe in the 50's to have been. Simple and easy.
beverly hills auto service
A great independent Volvo service. I took my car in for some obscure problems that the master mechanic was able to solve. I also thought I was going to need some major suspension repair, but there were able to perform some simple adjustments and didn't rip me off.
Hollywood Seven Star Motel
This is a small Motel near the corner of Hollywood and La Brea. I lived across the street and used it for overflow for visitors. The decor is a little outdated and the building is old, but it was clean.
Naja's Place
It's not really possible to try every beer there, but I tried hard. Down to earth, come as you are beach type bar. I spent a St. Patricks Day here and I'm told I had a great time!
