Seabrook Lawnmower
This shop has not come back after Hurricane Ike. I really miss them and hoped that they would come back. The owners are good Christian people and I always felt comfortable with the advice they gave me. I was always helped getting my lawnmower out of my van and got my lawnmower back either when promised or before it was promised.
Bosone's Automotive
I have had my car towed by Bosone's due to a dead battery, so I thought. Although the gentleman put water in my battery and wasn't supposed to due to being a self-maintained battery, it wasn't my battery after all. He was on-time and courteous and drove me to the place where I wanted my car to be repaired. AAA approved.
Ryans
I used to take my husband's shirts there weekly, but stopped after the Dry Cleaner tore up his shirts. They did reimburse me for them, but you never get what you paid for the shirt and at $42.00 a shirt, I just couldn't afford to bring them there any longer. When his shirts weren't tore up, they did a fine job and the service counter personnel were friendly. I just do them myself now.
Sun & Ski
I have gone in here several times for swim gear. I have found high quality goggles for decent prices and rash guards on the sale rack. The price was even lower when I went up to the register so I was pleasantly surprised! Good selection of items for swimming.
Green Caye Golf Course
Reasonably priced green fees and carts. You can walk this course if you want to and just rent a pull cart if you don't have one. A good practice course for your short game! Front desk personnel are nice too!
Bayside Bed & Biscuit
I have used this kennel two times and although I prefer kenneling my dog at the vet that I use, this place is my second choice. I have a special needs dog that gets very nervous when he is boarded and I like the fact that a vet is next door owned by the same family. The only problem that I have is that they have a pick up time on Sundays that is later so you have to pay for the full day on Sunday even if you pick up the minute that they open.
Baysore Ac Heating & Appl
I have used Bayshore Air Conditioning for the last 5 years and Tom Quinn the owner is very prompt and courteous. When I had a problem with his work, he did come back quickly and remedied it. I feel I am getting an honest days work for my money.
Flaming Wok
We like the quality of food here and the portions are a good size. The owner is normally behind the counter or in sight and we have always been greeted by him. The have combo meals for lunch which gives you a lunch portion of your entree and/or an spring roll or soup. I like to have the option.
Sara's
Sara's is a good place to stop after driving or taking a walk around the pennisula. Good hot dogs that you can't get anywhere outside the area, so when we come home for a visit, we stop there and have a Smith's hot dog. Great milkshakes too!
Big Bowl
My kids love this place! They can pick what they want and how much they want. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. Price is good if you are big eaters!
