DONT USE THIS DOCTOR! His midwives are nice but as soon as i met him he raised some red flags with me. His waiting time is usually half hour to an hour to see him and the waiting room is kinda dirty and always filled with screaming unruly kids whose parent's neglect to discipline them. He is very forgetful and forgets dates and gestational ages very easily. Second was when he made an inappropriate joke in front of my husband when they first met by saying "Who was the other guy before?" I thank god my husband knows i would never cheat on him, we were both pretty angry with Purdom after that. Third was his constant pressure to take pain medication for labor and the scoffing at the response of "ill try to go through labor without it." The final straw was when i began to have painful contractions and went to labor and delivery, unfortunately i was not dilated/effaced enough to be kept. Purdom has the nerve to call me when im absolutely feeling out of it and scold me for going to the hospital of my choice even though he was signed up to deliver there! He wanted me to deliver at a hospital about 30 minutes away from my house strictly because it was convenient for him.

Luckily i was able to find a new doctor so close to my due date. He was shocked that my daughter's size was not being tracked at all. Im 37 weeks and shes already over 7 pounds which means she would be about 10 pounds if i were to carry her for all 40 weeks! Im hoping this doctor can save me from needing a c-section because of Purdom's gross neglect.
