Hausinger, Sheryl, MD - Tcpa Friendswood

We're foster parents and our foster children have a special type of medicaid. It's very difficult to find an EXCELLENT doctor that takes this insurance. We were so blessed to find Dr. Hausinger. All of our foster children have medical issues and she has been an absolute lifesaver! She is extremely detailed, knowledgeable and down to earth. She can be a little blunt but I appreciate her honesty and opinion. She will spend as much time as you need with her. The only downside to that is that you have to wait to see her but when she's with you, you have her undivided attention.

The second you walk into the office and see the retro arcade games and train that chugs through the office, you feel so welcome. The staff is extremely friendly and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes.

Dr. Helmle is EXCELLENT with children. He is warm and friendly. Parents are encouraged sit with their children during any procedures. The staff makes what could be an awful experience, magical. The word shot is never said - the kids get to choose the color of a "bubble" that the doctor uses to blow into their mouth and make it sleepy. My son was given valium before the procedure so he wouldn't be afraid.

I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Helmle and his staff. We have four children and he is the only dentist we would ever consider using. I wish he treated adults!
