We used this company for the first time and won't be returning for any future eyeglasses. Neither my husband nor myself have glasses that correct our vision accurately, so we suspect our prescriptions were not filled correctly. A return visit produced no different results. We've been wearing glasses for many years, and this is the first time we've had this experience. On the plus side, they did work carefully with us to ensure that our VSP benefits were utilized to the maximum.
Food is authentic and the wait staff is friendly. On the last Fri. of the month you will find yourself sitting at a long table and eating with alot of other people. It's crowded and service can be slow, but the music is well worth it and the jovial atmosphere is contagious. If you leave there without a song in your heart, it's your own fault. Any dark mood will be shattered by this place. I'm happy for days!
We've been there for both dinner and breakfast--breakfast is the best! Prices are reasonable and service is usually good. The only negative is when we were there with a larger group. You expect things to take a little longer due to the size, but the service was very slow and orders got mixed up. Not a pleasant experience.
Food was good but not great. Nice atmosphere, but prices didn't justify the overall experience. Probably won't return. Better food at better prices elsewhere.
This is one of our favorite places to eat, even if the atmosphere is pretty loud most of the time. Food is consistently good. I'm a sucker for their sweet potato side and rolls--died and gone to heaven! They have attractive early bird specials and happy hour drinks. We don't like the fact that you can't make reservations because there is always a wait after 5 pm. You can do call-ahead seating, but that can be hit-and-miss also. If you eat a meal while sitting at the bar, be prepared to have people who are waiting to be seated standing directly behind you jostling you and sharing their conversations with you. We won't do that again. Nonetheless we keep going back--just earlier to avoid some of the crowd madness.
Really warm and comforting atmosphere. Fresh ingredients and yummy flavors. Spring rolls are exquisite!. We were there for a large birthday party, and the service was prompt and accurate. I've eaten at other Vietnamese places, and this one is at the top of the list.
It is difficult to find an authentic Thai restaurant, but this one is very good. If it's your first time there, don't let the location put you off (strip mall). Nice atmosphere and good service. Anything with fresh basil and lots of spice is always delicious in my book.
The food is very good, especially the gyros meat (what a difference from other places). The staff is friendly and will do substitutions. It's small, seating is crowded along a wall opposite the counter, and there is little "atmosphere." I'm guessing most people do take out for that reason. That's too bad because the caliber of food warrants exotic music, seductive belly dancers, a tented ceiling, and plush floor pillows!
We have had consistently good food and service at Old Chicago. Especially like the calzones and pasta dishes. We don't go there to watch sports, so we usually sit in the side area away from the bar; more quiet and easier to chat. Love their beer selections.
We've eaten here a number of times. If you're not into sushi, which we aren't, their chinese and thai food is average. We both like things spicy, but their "spicy" dishes don't cut it, and overall flavors are mediocre. Guess sushi gets all the attention!
