St Finn Barr School

St Finn Barr is a small school (250 students) located in the Sunnyside neighborhood. My son has made some great friends since starting kindergarten a year ago. My husband and I have been very active in the school and have gotten to know several families. We love the community.The principal, Tom Dooher, is very approachable and responds quickly to comments or questions you might have. The Vice Principal and Kinder teacher, Karen O'Reilly, went to St Finn Barr and has been teaching at the school for 25 years. Most of the faculty have been with SFB for five or more years. While the school definitely needs some updating, overall, we are extremely happy with the quality of education our son is getting.
