I am a gringo and I have to take it a little slow with the menu but all the dishes I have ordered for lunch has been very good. They have a very nice dining area and very friendly people. I have even started trying things I have no clue what they are and still good. Might be best I don't know.
Wonderful atmosphere and nice dining experience, great entertainment when they have it. The problem is a little pricey for such small somewhat bland quantities of food. With a little more pizzazz and a little more food and this place rates higher.
Very nice room and comfortable bed. Quality of room rivals many higher end Hotels just strange in the little town of Woodville. Which makes the price al little too much for the area but was a welcomed friend at the end of a long drive. Excellent bathtub and wonderful vanity, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron, board and microwave. Missed the continental but they have one.
We were greeted at the front door with to employees rear ends pointed at us while they were texting at the register. When one of them completed their text and sent it he turned around and proceeded to seat us. He took our drink order and then another person took our drink order and after 5 minutes our waiter came and took our drink order a third time. So far the experience started badly but the food was ordered and came out in a reasonable time. We ordered the chicken fried chicken and a sirloin steak. The chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, and squash were pretty good. I had ordered the sirloin steak medium rare but they brought it to me well done although it was over cooked it tasted good so I went ahead and ate it and didn't send it back. Plus another lady had brought the meal and no one returned until after I was finished. Be warned the chicken fried chicken meal is quite a bit of food so be hungry. To finish up you have to pay up at the front register and the young girl they had did not seen to interested in working of even acknowledging the customer. With a little better book ending service this restaurant could rate a lot higher but definitely worth eating at.
Nice little cafe and up until Denny??s moved in was the only place you could get somewhat not fast food. Food is decent and the value is good. Breakfast is nice but really could do without all the smoking. Service is a little flighty sometimes. Breakfast and lunch only and closed Saturday and Sunday.
Fittingly named Hard Times Barbeque it burned down several months ago. For the pricing and quality of food very few will ever miss it. I guess though for being in the middle of nowhere someone somewhere will miss it. Just not me.
I have been here three times and while the food is decent it is of the caliber of a new Appleby??s. I read some of these people who drop five starts on a dime and wonder if it just isn??t management posting. The lunch deal is ok and I enjoyed the soup and sandwiches for lunch. I still could not figure out why the wait when next door blows them away in great tastes.
I have never had any problems with the food and they seem to not be busy most of the time. Very fast drive through which means alot to people on the road sometimes.
All the food I have ever ordered from here has been oddly enough fine, never a problem with the food. But OMG the drive through is so slow. If you have more than 4 cars it is faster to go inside.
Ok if you just have to have it but usally not fresh and very greasy. Been sick after all three times in 18 months but some like it. Not to friendly but make up for it by ignoring you.
