Holiday Inn Express Miami-Arpt Ctrl-Miami Springs

We stayed here one night when we had an early morning flight the next day. It's literally across the street from the airport, but not the entrance to the airport - so you still need a shuttle. Their shuttle runs 24 hours a day, so that was no problem. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. For dinner, there is an IHOP on one side, and Tom's NFL American Grill on the other, which has a nice selection of food and a large beer menu. We ate at the Grill, and it was pretty good - it looks like it's popular with the locals. As is typical of this type of hotel, the sound insulation is not good, so if there are noisy people in the hall or adjoining room, you'll hear it. Also, because of the location, there is a bit of traffic and airplane noise. Fortunately, we did not have any noisy neighbors, and it was pretty quiet by the time we went to bed - even the traffic noise had settled down, and we had a good sleep. The breakfast starts at 6:30 am, and we were taking the 6 am shuttle, so we did not have the opportunity to try the breakfast buffet, but they did have some cinnamon rolls and a few other things out around 5:30 am, and there were hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, and milk in the refrigerated case. That was nice - we weren't expecting to be able to have anything before we left. For an inexpensive overnight stay that is convenient to the airport, we were very pleased and would stay here again.

I've been going there for over 6 years and he always gets the job done, gives reasonable prices, and has time to talk to me even when i just drop by without any appointment. I LOVE this place and wouldn't think about anyone else touching my car. Now my sister goes there too and she is a very happy car owner. She went there a month ago for some transmission problems and they fixed her toyota RAV4 for her.
