If you like your car, do not take it here.
From the time I dropped my car off until the day I could drive it home was 12 weeks and 3 days. Desert Collision repeatedly had issues with bad communication, ordering the wrong parts, horrible workmanship, and an extremely slow pace. This place is a joke.
While my car was in the shop, the estimator made a few references to how he was going to be making a fat paycheck on this and that his body repair guy would be getting a nice bonus. They managed to get $12,000 from my insurance company. It took 3 months from a car accident with strictly cosmetic damage (front-end but nothing under the hood) to get the car back. When I got it back, I saw they got grease all over the inside fabric on the roof and visors. The steering wheel was crooked and the car pulled to the right. Driving it home from the shop, I had a blowout within 10 miles and had to have it towed back to them. They refused to repair or replace a damaged wheel where the accident occurred, saying they ran out of insurance money and that it would be out of the budget. They claimed I had a passenger in the car when I did not, and refused to replace two seat-belt covers damaged from the airbags, saying it was out of budget.
When I complained about the grease on the interior, they admitted to doing it and said they would clean it. When I picked the car back up from having it re-towed there from the blowout, I saw they had not cleaned it. They had the nerve of asking me to lie to the insurance company (they literally said 'lie') and say that my experience was positive.
