Just came back from Disney World and really enjoyed our vacation! The resorts are full of great food, amazing stores and many things to do. Each and every day was filled with magical moments, watching the kids' faces light up with joy, as their dreams of meeting Mickey, Donald and Goofy came true. A little tip that was given to us and so glad we followed the advice: bring or buy little notepads to take autographs from their favorite characters. Food plan was amazing. Never went hungry and LOTS of selection to chose from!
This little place far exceeded our expectations! Clean, nicely updated rooms and amazing service. We enjoyed the common areas, included breakfast buffet & the adjoining restaurant was amazing for dinner! Staff at the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival and were available every moment of our stay. Can't say enough about the West Inn & Suites
We enjoyed Legoland. It was a little smaller than we expected, but the rides and attractions were great. The kids enjoyed themselves...especially trying to soak mom on the water/firehose spray ride.
We absolutely LOVED the Lego figures - Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, the car & family made completely out of Lego, etc. All very inspirational for my little, creative Lego builders.
One star is too much!
Avoid this place like the plague, or when you pick a piece, hang on to it and DO NOT LET THEM TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOUR SIGHT!
Last year, my husband & I bought an estate engagement ring from Mulloy's. When I decided I wanted to purchase it and let Pauline (I believe is her name - English accented middle-aged woman) know, I felt uncomfortable with her repeated requests to hand it back. I decided to say 'no' and kept it. It was too small, but I decided to keep it and bring it home. Pauline told me that she needed time to find the paperwork on it and if I wanted to come back tomorrow and have it resized for free, she would have it then.
We took our receipt, which stated it was set in a platinum band and had a photocopy of the details of the ring. Over night, my husband wanted me to rethink the idea of having the ring resized with Mulloy's because it was free and we decided to go back.
I felt uneasy and should have listened to my gutt when I noticed that Pauline was more than too happy to take the ring back. She sent us off to come back in an hour. We showed up with our receipt in hand, to which she promptly snatched off the counter & shredded it before our eyes, while informing us that they made a mistake and that the band was only 14k, not platinum. She was rude and scoffed at the request for a discount due to the lower cost band and sucked her teeth and sighed at my request to examine the ring again under the loop.
The markings of the ring were not the same, or in the same spot (as shown to me by another lady the first day who very nicely showed me to hold the name on the inside of the band facing me and see the two very small spots) and we were in shock.
Pauline and the owner made us feel like we were crazy and showed us our official paperwork belonging to my new ring. Since we had no original paperwork, we felt we had no recourse and left in shock.
After taking the ring home and having it appraised at a reputable appraiser, we found out that not only was the size of the diamond was overestimated, but the color of the diamond was NOT an "F" as stated, but in fact a "G".
I wouldn't hesitate to think that they have done this 'bait & switch' trick before. Pauline is too slick and very manipulative with customers.
We tried calling the owner and Pauline, but they would not return our calls. In hindsight, of course there are a few things that I would have done differently, but you live and learn. Since finding the various review sites, I've decided to at least help others avoid what we've gone through. I would NOT recommend Mulloy's to my worst enemy!
