I have to agree exactly with some of the reviews about this place, if you are looking for a chic address in a supposedly "cool" type setting and not mind the quality of work and the noise, then you should go there, but if you are looking for talent, style and confident professionals to take care of your hair then most definitely forget about it!. They are good at promoting their salon but the content at best is mediocre, my experience was even worse.

I also have to agree with some of the reviewes about Jill, I too had the unfortunate experience of going to her, being my first time there I made sure she will see the way my hair style looked, I explained to her in detail that I am looking for a trim and not a cut, the moment she layed her hand on my hair it was evident that she lacked the confidence, after all one immediately feels it, and for that reason I repeatedly reminded her that she needs to trim and not cut.,she kept saying yes and minutes later, the result was there a disaster!, my hair was not as short as this for the past several years!...

...she asked me what did I think of her work and I told her that I was not satisfied, was unhappy, this was the shortest I have seen my hair for years and not what I repeatedly told her todo so, first she started crying!...after I brought to her attention that if she is a professional in what she does she should not cry, she gathered herself and said "well if you were looking for longer than this then you should not have came in for a cut!", when she said that it was evident that she will not recognize her mistake...realizing how unprofessional she was and to cut it short I told her that after all it's just matter of time and it will grow againand her answer was "yes, after all it is just hair...".

After paying $70 for this horrible cut, the feeling with which I left the place was shock and disbelief!...I definitely do not recommend you to overpay for such a poor quality service rendered by Jill, I guess it is difficult to hire good talent in these salons and they have tokeep mediocre ones around.
