I was referred by many actors throughout the years but for some reason never made it to one of the schools informational session to see if what i had heard about her teachings would work for me. Actors that i have worked with have studied with her and given her rave reviews so i finally decided to check it out.
Her technique is indeed fantastic and honestly, you cant go wrong if you are given different acting techniques to learn and choose from when you are on set and working on a challenging characters. Michelle Danner teaches her own acting technique and philosophy called "The Golden Box" based on the Meisner Technique, Lee Strasbergs Method, Stella Adler, Stanislavskis System, Uta Hagen, and the Chekhov technique. Michelle Danner continues to make me a better artist, and empathetic human being.Her acting school offers actors a well rounded education, if you have the time to work hard and dedicate yourself to the conservatory program the school offers i would highly recommend that, since you get to take all the classes they offer. i myself signed up for her 3 months program since i fly in and out of los angeles. and luckily they have a great makeup policy in case you need to miss a class for auditions or if you are plain sick. Michelle Danner's acting school provides a beautiful safe environment where we play pretend like emotional gymnasts. Its been three months now and i feel that it went way to quickly.
