    Hana Ranch Restaurant
    ★★★★☆2 reviews

This place doesn't have a wide selection, but they have pretty cheap lunch specials compared to other places in Hana. The lunch specials are only offered at their outdoor ordering area. Its a cute place and one of the few restaurants in Hana.

    National Tropical Botanical Garden
    ★★★★☆2 reviews

One of the most magical botanical gardens I have been to- It totally focuses on the region with interesting plants and lava sculptures- very beautiful. I highly recommend a stop here if you're spending the night in Hana.

    Ka'uiki Restaurant
    ★★★★☆2 reviews

There aren't a lot of choices in Hana- and Ka'Uiki is as good as it gets. The food is not spectacular but it's fine and everything in Hawaii tastes better to me.

    Hasegawa General Store Inc
    ★★★★★4 reviews

I'll never forget walking into Hasegawa's after my first ride down the Hana Highway- it was like stepping back in time. I love stores with eclectic merchandise- typically found in remote locations where you need to stock everything just in case. It's fun to wander through here and almost mandat...

    Hotel Hana Maui
    ★★★★★3 reviews

OK- it's expensive. It's not easy to get to (although the drive is one of the most beautiful in the world) but imo this is as close to paradise as you can get- totally relaxing - stunningly beautiful and the best spa massage I've ever had. I dream of returning there.

    Tutu's
    ★★★★☆1 review

There isn't much to Hana, but sitting at the beach at Tutu's is worth the drive (as is the rest of the drive to Hana). This little eatery has decent food after a long drive with many stops on the journey to Hana.

    Joe's Place-Hana
    ★★★☆☆1 review

If you need an inexpenisive place to stay in Hana, try Joe's Place. The best part was cooking and sharing meals with the other guests from all over the world. It's simple, but clean and friendly.

    Hana-Napualani O'hana
    ★★★☆☆1 review

The studios are only $45 and the larger unit is $75. It's 8 miles from Hana so it's a long haul down the lonely highway. Not real fancy here but it's got charm.

    Hana's Tradewind Cottages
    ★★★★☆1 review

What can I say? You are staying in the middle of a tropical flower farm, with a hot tub on your front porch (lanai), in Hana. You have total privacy (save the occassional lizard). Before you drive to Hana, stock up on groceries - Hana is very secluded. Oddly, it is nearly impossible to buy sea...

    Bamboo Inn On Hana Bay
    ★★★★☆1 review

First off, this is Hana not Disneyland. This hotel reflects what Hana is like... relaxed, natural and inviting. This hotel might not be the Hilton but one comes here to get away from the city so expect just as much. We stayed here for 2 nights in their tree house and I loved it.

I spent another fabulous vacation at Hale Pau Hana. What a wonderful complex located right on the ocean. We had a gorgeous completely renovated unit with a stainless and granite kitchen, beautiful furnishings.

    Hana Airport-Hnm
    ★★★★☆1 review

The Hana Cultural Center is a small museum with Hawaiian artifacts, woodcarvings, and period photographs. It's a friendly community run operation and a good place to get a sense of Hana's roots. The same grounds has the old Hana district police station and three-bench courthouse, which operated...

    Hana Kai-Maui Resort

The Hana Kai Maui Resort is well maintained and offer a lot for the money. Rates vary for their studio and deluxe one-bedroom apartments. All have a private lanai with outstanding views of the bay, maid service, laundry facilities, and barbecues. The views couldn't be more spectacular as the g...

Aloha Cottages are owned and operated by Zenzo and Fusae Nakamura and are the best bargain in town. The cottages are meticulously clean, well built, and very nice. You get two bedrooms, a full kitchen, living room, deck, and outdoor grills. Mrs. Nakamura provides friendly service and there is m...

    Heavenly-Hana Inn
    ★★★★☆1 review

Heavenly Hana Inn is the second most famous Hana hotel. It resembles a Japanese ryokan (inn). It has a formal garden and an open beamed main dining hall. The four suites seem like little apartments broken up into sections by shoji screens. Rates are reasonable at this bright and homey inn. I...
