I have been to many one dollar stores. In fact, that's the
only place I go. The 99 cents only store is the most
complete store with everything under 1 dollar. I am always
surprised of what new, unique, and different things they
will have week after week. Some things can be discounted
quite substantially. One time I bought a very nice date
book. The only problem with it was some of the pages
were dated 2005, but you could use these for notes and
just buy the refill for the updated version.
