Their salads are the best around. They do a lot of sweepstakes/advertising methods that keep you coming back. I love their Hawaiian pizza as well. Try the tropical breeze drink also!

The service was slow but the pizza was delicious and enough for 2. My mom got a salad and it was a good portion size as well. Definitely recommend the Pear & Gorgonzola pizza!

I do think the pizzas are good, and the variety is great, but what keeps me coming back are the salads! I really like a good hearty salad and they are so filling. My coworkers and I frequent this place for lunch, and the food is always good and the service is always friendly.

It was my daughter's birthday last week and I told her she could pick any restaurant she wanted to go to. Yep, she picked CPK. The kids love the pasta, I love the salads, and my husband loves the pizzas. It's the one place where the kids are happy, and the parents don't have to give up having "adult" food and beverages.

This is by far the worse pizza chain I have ever been to. The dough is terrible and the toppings (though unique) are sparse and lack any harmony in creating a quality pizza. I think the whole chain developed from the BBQ chicken pizza which is a glorified chicken sandwich. California pizza is not local Vegas pizza...for tourists only.

SALADS are why I love eating at CPK. Very creative ingredients, always very fresh. May favorites are the Waldorf and the BBQ Chicken Salad. (P.S.The chicken they put in the salads is high quality.) Their tortilla soup is YUM, too. They seem to be getting pricier, but still worth it.

The California Pizza Kitchen has a really varied menu from asian to just about any type of pizza you could think of. They have a wonderful lettuce wraps and a great blackened salmon with pan fried vegetables. I absolutely love the Spinach Artichoke dip, it is unbelievable, we always have to order 2 of these because it is absolutely sinful. You can get their menu on line, they deliver in a timely fashion.

One of the best chain restaurants I've ever been to. The staff, managers, food, and drinks are all great! The last time we went I got my original favorite, the Chicken Tequila Fettucini. This time I tried their Chipotle pizza, and it was awesome. Every time I eat there (which is at least once a month), I have a great experience. If you've never been there before, you have to try it!

California Pizza Chicken is a great place anywhere (not just in Emeryville). I love their Garclic Chicken pizza and Chinese Chicken salad! The price is a little pricey for pizza but their pizza is delicious! You will be satisfied. The decor is fun and interesting and the place is pretty big. Parking is hard to find, you can either park on the street and use the parking meter or there is a parking garage (don't know the price). The restaurant is on the second floor and a very attractive place to eat as the dim lights give an appealing look. The food is great though and the workers are friendly. I recommend to everyone.

The pizza at CPK is better than you'll find at most chain restaurants, but of the two locations I've been to (this one and the one in Rio/Washingtonian Center in Gaithersburg), quality was very inconsistent and this Dupont Circle location came out the loser. Not to say the pizza's bad, it's just not "spectacular." Still, the staff are nice, the decor is nice, and there's plenty of variety in meal options. I'd say the location (right next to the bustling Dupont Circle) and its atmosphere are the real draw of this establishment, meaning that if you're in the area and like pizza, it's worth a try. But don't make a special trip here.
