I wouldn't go anywhere else to rent a car!!
After a terrible experience with Enterprise, I called this office to rent a car. They were not only cheaper, but they were quick, easy to deal with and really cared about their customers. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

A convenient rental car place. Friendly and fast service, however I do remember having a hard time reading their contract. And they were trying to charge me too much for gas.

I rented a hummer h2 from hertz in may 2005. They were the only car rental place that rented very luxuries cars. I choose the hummer h2 which was the most exspensive car they had. They got the best selection of cars in colorado. I rented it for one day. Everything was good, except the hummer had this annoying rubber cover for the xm radio the kept banging the roof of the car whenever you drove on the highway. I explained this to a hertz customer service rep, but he didn't care any bit. I thought a discout of some sort should have been arranged.
PROS: Car selection, Prices,
CONS: no discount for defetive vehicle

I rented a car from the Hertz location on Gulf Frwy. When I picked up the card was told it would a $200.00 hold on my bankcard. I looked at my checking account today and found that not only was a $200 hold on my card ALSO, one for $491.00.
I'm mad as hell about it. I called before I went to pickup the car and was quoted a hold of $200.00 would be placed.
I have called the location to resolve this and was told I must be mistaken there was only a $491.00 hold put on the card.
Apparently I was be mistaken. So here I sit with my checking account in overdraft due to the incompetency of the person who rented me the car.
I can only say it would not have been a problem if I was told the truth from the beginning. If anyone that is thinking about renting a car from Hertz beware of not being told the truth. When you rent a car from Hertz using a bankcard A $200.00 hold will be placed on your account along with the total amount of the car rental.
The economy is terrible you would think HERTZ could find better qualified individuals that really cared that there customers were told the truth upfront about the company's policies and cost
Needless to say I WILL NEVER RENT ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I love Hertz1 They are a very good car rental company. They have good weekly rates. They will bring the car to you. This is an excellent service. They will pick you up at the airport and get you all settled into your rental care. They offer deals on certain cars and you can always get a rental. Hertz all the way!

This Hertz is located in an unassuming gas station in Englewood, about 5 miles across the GW Bridge from Manhattan. The prices to rent a car here are about half what it costs in Manhattan, so it is advantageous to rent there and take a bus over the bridge to pick it up. Dropping it off is another story. The staff generally isn't too much a problem but bear in mind that you do have to be 25 to rent.

I recently booked a car two weeks in advance for a trip to atlanta and back. I had a specific car in mind that I rent every week for the past several months from this location. I called a week before to ensure that I would have the car since it was an important factor for me renting with hertz in the first place. Well as a Platinum Corporate member (the highest level of membership) I have to say I have been very pleased with this location up to this point when the car I wanted was not available to rent due to oil change required, well I was furious at first but then they gave me an infiniti which was ok but not what i wanted. I drove the car into wilmington DE when the engine light came on and the brake light flashed, the car started to shake real bad every time I hit over 70 mph, to say the least this was just the stroke that broke the camel's back for me. I was very inconvenienced because now i had to divert into BWI baltimore airport to try to exchange into another car which meant taking 1 hour out of my long trip to go into the airport. When i got there they gave me another infiniti, this time it did not have any flashing warning lights which was a relief to me since now i can be on my way without and diversions. Wouldn't you know it 5 hours later the drivers side tire starts to deflate and I find myself in the middle of nowhere with a tire going flat. Lucky me there was a gas station every 50 miles so I had to pretty much stop in every gas station to check the pressure and add air. Needless to say this has been a complete nightmare for me and I will be contacting corporate offices to ensure that they know how their platinum members are being treated.

Hertz Car rentals are really cool as they have tie ups with many corporate firms in America. So they offer good discount prices on midsize vehicles with Insurance covered by the corporate firm. I like the way the reps handle any emergency situations & the always available midsize cars for rental. The brand new models are also a plus point.

Hertz rental car goes way over what a customer would usually expect to satisfy their customers. The choice of vehicles at herts are so much more than any rental car agency I have ever dealt with. You can rent a specialty car at hertz and its very affordable. Their cars are always clean and service is excellent.

World-Class! Clay Lacy is one of the best FBO's out there, certainly the best at BFI. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to meet your needs. This FBO also has a very comfy pilot's lounge for all you weekend air warriors!
PROS: Professional staff, friendly as well.

Had to get a one way car rental to go pick up my new car in Pennsylvania. Found the deal for this location of Hertz on CarRentals.com - at half the price of the other locations. It is hidden in the bottom of a building in the back.
They only had 2 total cars to pick from, but they were in the class I had reserved so all was well. The car had less than 200 miles on it, which was nice. Easy reservation - good customer service on phone as well.
Tip - if you usually get the collision damage waiver purchase it in advance for 1/2 the price when making the reservation.
