I had a rental scheduled with them, and went to pick it up. I had to walk around looking for someone to help me, and was then told that the person I needed wasn't there and I would just have to wait. I waited 40 minutes before I could get my truck and go - I didn't get any sort of apology either...

Penske does a great deals, and attend the customer with the higher respect. At this point i haven't purchase anything, yet. I recommend to everyone Penske for there security.

We have use Penske trucks many many times and have always been satisfied! They have 10' vans, 16', 22' and 26' trucks. They even have commerical trucks if needed. Their prices at times are high occording to demand and the time of month but for a dependable moving truck it is well worth it not to be breaking down as some of the competitors do.
They also have moving blantets and hand dollies. They managers are very friendly, honest and helpfull folks too.
PROS: Dollies, Blankets, Vans, Small to Large Trucks

I used one of their trucks during a recent move and it was a pleasant experience all the way around. They were out of the size truck that i was needing and they were very accomodating by giving me a bigger one for the same price plus the truck was in alot better shape then some of the others i have rented from other companies out there.

Two years ago, I rented from Penske, came with unlimited mileage. I was moving from San Jose to Orange County. Rented it from San Jose from a local rental, which mean I have to return to the same place, and drove down to OC and drove back to San Jose. Because of the unlimited mileage, it saved me about $300. One thing I like about Penske is that they are eager to match competitors prices.

This is a good company to pick for a local move. I tried call several place and they have the most reasonable prices. They open early in the morning. You just need to call a few days before to schedule a pick up. They have trucks from sizes 12-26 Ft. The emlpoyees are very helpful. They also sell moving supplies.

Nice trucks that are clean and in good running condition. Be careful though as they close early on Sat (at 2pm). I was unaware of this and came to drop off my truck a few minutes after 2pm. The front desk clerk informed me that they were closed and he wouldn't be able to check in my truck that same day because he had already shut the computers down. He was nice enough to take the truck and keys and paperwork from me so it would be considered in on time. They are easy to find if you know your way around Philadelphia.

We lease our company's trucks through Penske and we have been very happy with the service! They are quick to replace a truck with a loaner if one of the truck's is out for repair. All their staff are very helpful!
