I had a storage unit at this location for many many years. The fact that it was climate-controlled and central to Decatur made it a great spot. The fees, however, increased an exorbinant amount over the period of time that I was there. Also, my account was on auto pay and they would never give me a clear heads up that they were raising the rates. Personally felt it was dishonest. For the most part, as well, the people I've dealt with there have come across as snobbish or just too busy to help out. If I didn't have to interact with them, the storage worked out great, but I always dreaded when I did have to talk to the employees.

Public Storage is a great place to store your clothes, bikes, large items that you are not able to keep due to space restrictions in your house. It makes it so much easier on you to just have a place to put it and know that it will be safe and not have to worry about it cluttering up your place and making a mess. It takes a lot of time and hassle out of your cleaning and organizing by allowing you more room to work with and be able to have everything neat and organized. This place is reasnoably priced and you can call and see if they have any specials going on. If you have a lot of items that you cannot fit or keep in your place and are looking for a place to keep them give them a call.

I used this location when I had to store furniture during a move. This place is great. I was able to securly lock my furniture away. They had a great security system installed and plenty of employees around the lot. It was a very easy and convenient way to safely store my furniture temporarily

This place is terrible, and doesn't rate the minimun of 1 star! The roof leaked, and we had to keep our furniture covered with tarps. When we decided to move our things to another company, we gave 10 days notice, and then discovered that our unit had been robbed! My husband checked down the isle and found several other units which also had broken lock hasps. The manager was not at all concerned, stated that she had already had to replace about 15 hasps on units that had been broken in to. She had not notified renters there was a problem, nor had she taken any steps to safeguard Public Storage customers' belongings. There are no security cameras or lock checks there. It had to take alot of noise and effort to break all those metal hasps, and one has to wonder if it didn't happen at night...and how a thief got in...and how so many units could be robbed with the manager not noticing anything....
Our son spent many hard, grueling days in Iraq to pay for these items that were stolen. We are very upset, and there is no excuse for the negligence and outright carelessness (at best) shown by this Public Storage location.

Shurgard Storage has been a home for many of my family's valuables and memories. My family has been a customer at Shurgard since 1999. And we wouldn't have it any other way. The manager is a very nice woman, who is always there to assist you with what you need. The facility is clean and spacy. I have not experienced any type of damage with my belongings. No weather damage from result of all of these horrible storms that pass through either. The only problem we have had is with the billing. A few times Shurgard claimed they did not get the payment, so we would have to physically hand it in a few times. Just so that there was no confusion or denying that the payment was recieved. Other than that, everything is good. I recommend this facility to people that have recently moved, have excess junk, or just need a temp storage.
PROS: Nice and Clean facilities along with a helpful staff.
CONS: There may be some problems with their billing services at times.

Storage facility that also can supply you with the boxes locks and moving supplies that you might needs for moving your items into their storage facility. The grounds are well lit so you can feel safe after dark.

Can never find best storage place in Iselin more than this place.Best customer service. Service for 24/7 and with very secure place. Workplace is kept neat and tidy to store all types of things ranging from cot, couch, TV, car...

They advertised 1$ for the first month. I only needed it for three weeks. I told them and they didn't mind. I payed some sort of insurance $10 or something and that was it. Pretty good deal if you only need it for a short time.

We ran into the Shurgard yesterday on a very limited time-schedule, but no worries-- they didn't need to be asked to hurry up. In 10 minutes we had applied, paid, received and reviewed our (very clear) contract, and were loading boxes into a clean, well-lit, convenient storage space. Affordable, friendly, efficient. Just watch out for those extra fees (about $20) that they don't tell you about when they give you a quote.

The manager there is really nice,they have reasonable rates,,but outragous and rediculus late fees.And when the manager is not there,there is at least one employee that over steps his bounds and says he is a acting manager and he told me I had to vacate,because I was late.
