This is a convenient motel if you're going to be spending time at Six Flags. It's an exterior corridor place, which I don't love, but other than that things are pretty nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the desk staff is friendly. I'd recommend them if you're going to Six Flags, but not if you won't be -- there will be lots of families in this motel, so if you're on a business trip and need silence either to work or sleep, you can't guarantee that here.

after a night of clubbing my husband and i decided to stay at the ramada in on lakeshore drive. we had always passed it up on our way home from our outtings and decided to stop there and stay the night. they have free parking which is a double plus. they also have a cafe in the hotel called the lakeshore cafe where we stopped to have something to eat before we went to our room. after that we went to the indoor lounge called the rendezvous lounge and had a nightcap before going to our room. it was not real cheap but it was alot of fun. our room was real nice and clean. i will definitely be going there again.
PROS: indoor cafe and lounge
CONS: a bit pricey

The Ramada Inn Somerset, 24 miles from Newark Airport, is in suburban Somerset where gracious hospitality is a tradition. The Ramada Inn Somerset is conveniently located close to most attractions to this city. Within walking distance of the hotel are many restaurants and entertainment venues. From the moment you step into the spacious lobby, you will be treated as the Very Important Guest you are.

This is a nice place in the area. They also have a great restaurant located downstairs that many locals go to because it is so great. Nice place for a weekend business stay.
