The owner is very rude! Uses horrible language and yells at customers! I would NEVER give them my business again! The worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Cons: Owner is not a nice person and not into customer service at all!!!

Take it somewhere else. You are better off. They are not worth the money. I would recommend another company over them.

This is the worst place I've ever had my furniture repair. I complained the job and owner gave me some nasty words. Avoid this place and there are much more better shop in this area.\r\n

If you'd like the short version, Dunne's is in the business of creating heirlooms through loving attention and expert craftsmanship. \r\n\r\nThe longer version: The first piece I ever took to Dunne's was my grandmother's hope chest. It was in bad shape--dripped varnishes, white rings, dents, you name it. The good folks at Dunne's picked it up from my home (and dropped it off when they were done), gave me a good bracketed estimate encompassing a range of services they could do that I could choose from, and worked with me along the way, letting me know when the chest was fully stripped (so I could come down and see the natural woods and decide what to do next--which changed, once I saw how pretty the natural grains were) and presenting various options for finishing at that point. They were even able to perfectly match part of the carved wood decoration (some of which was missing) on the front of the chest.\r\n\r\nWhat I really liked (besides the fact that, 20 years later, the chest still looks outstanding) is that Dunne's shares my love of the little dings and marks that show the graceful aged character of antiques: Make no mistake, they can and will make your furniture look like new if that's what you want. \r\n\r\nBut because they work with you throughout the restoration process--work with you to the degree that YOU are comfortable with--the only surprise you'll get is how great your restored piece looks when it's all said and done: It'll be exactly what you specified, and that's always a pleasant surprise. \r\n\r\nWe've had a second piece restored by Dunne's (a 19th-century chest of drawers) and you can't even tell what was repaired--even on the marble top of the dresser!--and the repairs to it were considerable--and well worth the money paid.

Pros: Superior craftsmanship and service, and worth the price!

Cons: The price for that superior craftsmanship and quality can be startling!
