While all of the staff seem to be quite professional, they are not as friendly as other local hospitals overall. They are very busy and can tend to treat you more like a number than a person. I arrived six centimeters dialated and the nurse would not listen to my requests for an epidural, only chuckling and saying there was no way I was far enough. Upon checking 45 minutes after arriving I was already 8 cm and therefore missed my window. In the end, I ended up delivering without a doctor because again, the nurse failed to listen to my requests. I was later told that I threw the on call nurse off schedule by having such a fast delivery. I decided not to return to this hospital for my second birth experience and it proved to be a must easier, pain free delivery!
This has by far the best maternity ward out there! The doctors, nurses and staff are so caring and friendly. They treat you as if you are staying in a luxury hotel! I called them from home while I was in labor and let them know that I was on my way and wanting to have an epidural. The nurse was so sweet and the moment I arrived I received my epidural. Good thing, my son was born only three hours later. My physician promised to make delivery as pain free as possible and boy did he deliver! when we left the hospital we got a sweet congratulatons note signed by all of the staff for the baby's book as well as a fun birth certificate! Very peronalized service and small home town feel.
Depending on how hot the weather is this could be a very fun time, or a miserable time. If it is too windy outside it becomes a huge dust bowl. I do think it is quite expensive to get in, espcially when there really aren't any free perks. Sure you see people walking around dressed in the full on renaissance gear and every once in a while you might be able to catch a show, but what really are you paying for. There is absolutely no shelter, so you are truly at the weather's mercy.
The food prices can become outrageous very quickly and there are severl bees or meat eaters (not sure what they are called) flying everywhere because everyone gets sticky with the weather. Overall, we had an absolute miserable time and left hungry, dirty and sweaty! Yuck!
PROS: Pretty Dresses and Ribbons
CONS: Dusty, Dirty, Expensive
They have the best prices when comparing to that other large store. I have always found better deals at menards and have always received the highest service quality!
You can find some gorgeous items here but they do tend to be quite pricey. We received some gorgeous very boutique type items as gifts. The store does very nice packaging and wrapping and the quality here is incredible. You get what you pay for and the blanket and snowsuit that we received will last for several years. We are now using the items we received for our first baby with our second baby and they look just as good as the first day we brought the items home. I would not reccomend this store if you are searching for a good deal and are trying to pinch pennies. But if you are looking for a special gift or items that will last a lifetime, this is where you will find it
PROS: Great Quality, Original Items
I have been able to find some really great deals here. From highchairs to clothes you can usually find a good bargain. Thankfully the store is quite particular on what they accept so you get high quality things.
We love this place. They have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Granted we are not very saavy when it comes to cigars, so it is nice to have someone guide us on what to purchase. We usually purchase two or three of the lower end cigars, but my husband seems to really love them, especially for poker night. The cigars range in prices from $1.00 and can keep going up. They also offer tobacco and regular cigarettes as well as humidifiers and various knick knacks related to cigars including boxes, lighters, cutters etc.
Definitely not a high end cut. For the price they charge for a child's haircut, I would recommend doing it yourself. It is difficult to get the same person and same quality haircut each and every time.
We have been quite impressed with this course. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a great course to bring the little ones to. The course itself is not too hard and you only need to drive one or two times. We have brought our two year old here and he has so much fun getting out, plus it lets dad play while also playing with the kiddies. The other bonus is that it is open rain or shine, you never know with Minnesota weather so this is a huge plus! We have continued to visit Golf Zone and would recommend.
Prior to visiting, I didn't know they offered new items as well. We purchased a very nice eliptical machine that was a higher end quality machine and received free delivery and free exercise mat with the purchase. They offer great financing options or you can receive a discount or freebie when you pay with cash. I would highly recommend that you order the warranty when you purchase exercise equipment such as an elliptical machine. They require tune ups and yearly maintenance and by purchasing the warranty you get all of these services for a one time fee. It is well worth it. We didn't and needed a tune up and had to pay $90 just to have a repair man come out.
