We have 2 large dogs besides numerous cats and the misc. stray my kids come home with so this place works out good for us. I don't feed my dogs crap food. I love them and my kids love them and we don't want to shorten their lives, but we can't afford to buy them real expensive stuff. This store offers really great prices on the large 50lb bags of high quality food. They have a lot of other animal feed (sheep, goat, etc.) and they have great parking and are convenient if you are out in Mesa. They also have a lot of leashes and bowls and stuff. I save money getting the food here instead of lage discount stores.
We had our latest dog neutered here and they did a reasonably good job at a low cost. I did have some concerns though. My dog has had numerous shots before and never even whimpered, but when this vet gave him his booster he screamed. Also, I didn't like the factory like feel to it all. I don't think I would go again with a different animal, but my dog did get through it all ok even if there wasn't any follow up. I think I'll spend a little more next time and take the animals to our regular vet.
I only go here to dream and when I tell the sales person I am just looking, they are very nice and say if I have any questions to just ask and then they leave me in peace. If I could get my wife to let me buy one, I would do it here. A very large selection of bikes and accessories.
We bought our very first computer 1 1/2 years ago from here. It is the one I am using now. We had no idea what to buy but we needed it for the kids and their school work. Also, we wanted to learn to use it too. We walked in here and the help we got was fantastic. We thought we were going to spend around 1500 and it worked out we only spent 700 to get everything we needed. They did not try to sell us extra. They asked what we were going to be using it for and they found us just what we needed at the cheapest price. What a great store to care about its customers real needs.
This grocer out in Buckeye has some of the best produce around and a meat market as good as any. It carries some of the freshest produce and if you have every shopped at the large grocers, you know that is a plus. I even found a roast that I had the butcher grind up and we had the best hamburgers ever.
Most of this stuff is just people trying to sell you anything with a little rust on it as an antique at a really high price, and most of them will not wheel and deal. But there are some really good finds if you look for them and I have gotten some great items for a fraction of the starting price. Just have to pick the right people and don't give up. It may take 5 or 6 visits to find what you want.
If you go to a barber shop you expect some sports illustrateds and some posters on the wall and some man talk. This place was like a beauty parlor for men. There were TVs everywhere so instead of gossiping and talking sports and how the wife mistreats you(lol) with the barber, you're supposed to watch TV.Then they want to massage your head. I will never return. Besides, my wife and kids laughed at my haircut when I got home. Oh and by the way, it costs a small fortune.
We have purchased all the children's bedroom sets here and our dining room table. They have a vast amount of furniture to choose from and they will go out of their way to help with the financing. We do not have the best credit but we got a very low interest rate. The prices here for new furniture are probably among the best in town and they do deliver.
Everyone raves about this place, but I have found a couple others in town are a lot more relaxing and easier to find things in. They do have alot of books and they buy used books and cds. I have purchased a couple of cds here. The kids like the other place we go much better, but this is a nice store.
Laradas is a very large army surplus store and I have found some great deals hear. We have gotten almost all of our camping equipment (really nice strong tents) here and I always spend hours looking around. Though my wife will not put up with a gun, they have a vast selection of weapons here also.
