RAdioshack used to be the place to shop but Frys Electronics are made is pretty archiec. The quality of product has gone down, but as always if you need expert advice on electronics, this the place to go.
If you want the latest and greatest in shoes, the Foot Locker is the place to be. Prices are competitive but be ready to spend the bucks. The Oakridge facility has a great selection, and most of the employees are very helpful
If you need to do anything dealing with crafts this is the place to go. The staff is very knowledgable especially in the framing department. They have everything from stickers to major frame building.
The only problem with the store is the check out. Be ready to wait awhile because service there is horrible.
Thank god for D&J Hobby's. There are many places like it around and with my husband's and son's love for toy trains, they make life wonderful. They are always very helpful and almost always have what we need in stock and even what we don't need.
Their toy train selection including train parts is excellent as well as craft supplies. It's a hobbiests' dream come true.
When you need better than the over the counter appliances this is the place. Their salespeople are really knowledgeable and helped us find the right appliances for our needs verses just trying to get another sale.
It's the first week of May, and my son is asking, "can we do it now." He of course is referring to planing his vegetable garden. I smile, and get my car keys and we're off to Orchard supply.
Everyone is really helpful, and they tend to have whatever our needs are in stock at fair prices. We always leave happy with our trunk loaded with seeds, soil, seedlings, and whatever my son fancys.
I remember a place where I always had fun a child, and couldn't wait to go to. It had great rides, great food, and the beach was icing on the cake.
Santa Cruz beach and boardwalk's rides have changed but not much else.
My children all enjoy the place from my 3year old to my 18 year old, there's something there for all of them. I would recommend the trip to anyone young or old.
It's a good place to go especially for the older children. I find for the younger bunch, it's hot, not real clean, has too long lines, and has an uptight feel. Great America has a long way to get even close to the Disney feel. Something just seems to be missing.
I love shopping at Macy's especially when I have a need to go for more than one person. The selection is especially wonderful at Valley Faire, however the Oakridge facility is rather lacking.
The shoe selection is wonderful, and if you can go during the sales, the prices can't be beat.
I'll start of by saying that I'm not even close to a train buff, but I actually found myself having an enjoyable time. Both my 9 year old and my husband breathe trains, and go to roaring camp at least once a year.
It is also a great place to take visitors. Whenever we have people visiting from Europe, it's one of the first places we take them, and continue recieving nothing but compliments.
