The Skyline Restaurant is a very good Italian restaurant. Their veal parmigiana is excellent. The service is usually pretty good but can be slow at times.
Miller's Smorgasbord is one of the places I always stop in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The food is always good and of course there is always plenty of it. I need my dose of shoofly pie and all the other sweets that are on the buffet.
The City Stream Brewery Cafe in Simsbury serves one of the most interesting specialty pizzas I have ever tasted. It had artichokes, leeks and chicken on it. Seems strange but it tasted great. Unfortunately the service the night I was there was very slow.
Jim's serves Italian and seafood that is usually always good. There is ample parking and the service is good. Usually we do take out but there is a dining room.
The Georges II Restaurant in Wallingford is a mixture of Italian and steak. The food is very good and the servers are always responsive and attentive.
Stella's is not just pizza, they also serve other Italian entrees and seafood which are always good but their pizza is excellent and the service is always good!
The Amish Door has excellent Amish style food and the pies and other desserts are the also excellent. The restaurant is clean and the service is good.
Potobello Restaurant is a very good Italian restaurant with excellent food and very good service. The restaurant is very comfortable and very casual.
The Dinosaur BBQ is excellent. Their pulled pork sandwich is out of this world and their fresh cole slaw is fantastic. I had the food at their booth at the Syracuse Fair Grounds where everything is cooked over wood fires and even at the fair grounds, the service was great.
The Mill on the River is very expensive for what you get... the service is not good, the food is mediocre and the bathrooms were a mess. It is pretty but nice ambience doesn't help. I will not go back.
