You get a lot of food for a good price. They make one mean Burrito. I'm salivating just thinking about them now. Only downside to this place is that it's only open 11am - 4pm. But if you can make it, you will be rewarded with delicious meats and tortillas
This is the best taco place in LA - no doubt about it. There are several mexican taco stands but this one deserves a medal. The shrimp tacos are amazing - a bit on the greasy side - but still so good.
It's almost like being on the Titanic in the middle of downtown LA. They serve super fresh seafood here. The grilled swordfish is not only delicious but very healthy. The make great cocktails here. The staff are very nice. It's a comfortable place.
Pink's is a world famous hot dog stand. They have the Best chili dogs here. There is a little patio to sit at in the back, but it's not fine dining - just good grub.
It's called Windows for a reason - because of the windows you look through to see the view. You can see the ocean on a clear LA night. It's truly amazing. This is right by the Staples Center, so it's a great place to go before a concert or game. The bacon wrapped filet is worth the trip from anywhere! The service is very attentive and helpful. The prices are high but oh so worth it.
Locanda is a hip, youthful and cozy Italian restaurant. They serve wonderful minestrone soup and the Veal is superb. The wine list really is extensive. The prices are a little high, but worth it.
Las Brisas has a great view of the pacific ocean. The food is good, but I think it is over priced for the quality. I guess you are paying for the location, and if you don't mind that, then go to Las Brisas. The service is friendly. The beef tamales are my favorite.
I don't know why anyone would go here unless you really needed a drink and you were in walking distance. The place smells really bad from all the spilled drinks and the smoking. It's cheap, but still not worth it.
Chicken Dijion has great rotisserie chicken. I always get the 1/2 chicken plate that comes with 2 sides a pita and garlic sauce. The sauce is the best part so be sure to order extras. They have great sides, like baked potato, rice pilaf, salad, fries and more.
If you like it spicy, then you'll love Ragin Cajun. It is very southern. hey serve red beans, rice and sausage, catfish, jambalaya and a lot of fried food. It's not the healthiest place in town, but it's good and spicy.
