I have had a couple of things designed and made for me by David Frank. His work is superb! And he has a knack for picking up on what your style is and designing something very special just for you. His wife, Connie, works behind the counter and she is a very enthusiastic and charming lady who delights in showing off David's work and the pieces of the other artists on display. And she does not mind if you are just browsing.
Dr Howard has done x-rays of all of my performance dogs hips, joints and spines. He is expensive but I feel like I get a thorough work up and he is very good at taking his time to tell me what he sees in the x-rays and answering my questions. When I had a dog that was having problems holding a sit, he spent alot of time with me making sure it wasn't structural and then he suggested I look into chiropractic care.
I have been taking my dogs to Dr Schaeffer (used to be Mannette) for several years with good results. I like the body work she does and we have had good success with homeopathy and herbs.
Dr. Brannon and her staff are very competent and careful with their animal patients. They take time to explain the procedures and after care to you and will not rush you if you have any questions.
I have taken my car to HM Motorsports for oil changes and detailing and they have done a good job. They are associated with Herzog Meier Volvo and Volkswagon and I can't say that I have ever seen any other make of car at their place, although they say they do them all. They found me a new donut tire when mine was ruined and it was quite an effort on their part to locate it for me.
Dr Johnston is particularly good at sports injuries. He has worked with many of the sports teams of local schools. He knows how to patch you up so you can get back in the game (whatever it is for you) and he also addresses the long term care to avoid further or additional injury. His prices are quite reasonable.
Aloha Garbage picks up my trash, yard waste and recyclables and I have never had a problem with them. They are courteous and helpful on the phone. And if you have excess recyclables (such as boxes at Christmas time), you can bring them to a dumpster on their premises any time for no additional fee. Some of my neighbors have complained about missed pick ups, but I have not had that problem.
Eric Stephens is a very talented healer. He was recommended to me by a friend who's sister had a stroke that left her paralyzed on the left side of her body. Eric "woke up" her body and brought the feeling back. I had pinched a nerve in my wrist and lost feeling in the hand from the wrist to the tip of the thumb. After about 6 visits, it was back to normal. I have continued to see him for various problems and am pleased with the care I receive.
Like its parent in Beaverton, this bakery does an excellent job with cakes, pastries, pies and breads. They do some of their baking on the premises and some comes form the parent company. No chemicals or unnecessary additives are used. If you have something written on your cake, pick it up well ahead in case there is an English error. I've had it happen twice and you will want to make sure there is time for them to fix it.
Five Spice has a variety of Asian inspired dishes and every one is excellent. The interior is inviting and comfortable at all times of the year. If the dining room is full, eating at the bar is an option and the bartender is quite entertaining.
