At this restaurant/cafe, i suggest the empanadas. they're mouth-watering and do not lack any flavor at all. for dinner or lunch, they have foods to choose from, but do keep in mind that the price might cost you a pinky. for dinner one night i ordered the pollo con limon with rice, and it came to around $13. It's a bit pricey, but this place does serve up some authentic Argentinian goodness!
I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE. The bread they serve is delish!! The pizza is even better! I highly recommend the meat lover's pizza or the spaghetti with meatballs. The price is not bad at all! If you're in the mood for pizza that's not from Domino's or Pizza Hut, check this place out. Also, if you're in Granada Hills, check out the Pizza Cookery on Balboa and Devonshire (Next to Asahi Sushi)!
THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Anri is amazing! I entered the salon (with an appointment... they only take appts.) not knowing what i wanted, and walked out about an hour and a half later feeling well-pampered AND very content with my nails. The girls who work here are great, and you don't feel uncomfortable at all when they speak, IDK what it is, but at other nail spas, I just feel like they're talking about me! :[ .. and that's not the case here!
So, of all the places I've searched for to find myself a Mini, this was the one place that did not let me down, as well as not pressure me into buying a car. The service center for the Mini's is quite awesome.
If you're searching for the perfect dealership, this is the one! The friendly service also goes for the BMW side of the dealership.
Away from the traffic of LA/Melrose's Sportie LAs, this Venture one does the job. In a more organized, cleaner fashion, the store still has all the shoes that'll grab your interest, the only difference is that this store has not much clothing to look at.
Parking comes sparingly, so you might have to park a block away.
Need a sports physical? Therapy for work-related injuries? Dr. de la Llana is the woman to go to. She's very understanding and knows just what to do. Her office is located on the 2nd floor of the Hamlin Medical Building, and once you step in the room, you're greeted by her office assistants who seem to know how to put a smile on your face with ease! The entire office is very welcoming, and if you're early for your appointment, she has the TV to keep you entertained, or tunes to keep you tapping your feet!
AH! This review is quite exciting to write! The Smell, is one hip place to be on a Friday/Saturday night in LA. Located in an alley, this place should not be underestimated. Every night of the week there are performances lined up.
For the 21+ crowd, sorry, no alcohol here! I love the environment, I love the different bands/artists that come out and play, and the people are pretty darn awesome. Not once have I been let down or been put down!
DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY IF YOU ALSO FEEL LIKE IT.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I highly suggest this theatre if you're in the mood for a movie and a break from shopping. The sizes of the theatres are pretty big. Show times vary throughout the day, and when new movies come out, they'll be playing them 'til late hours of the night/early hours of the morning.
One suggestion: If you're easily irritated by middle school/high school freshman kids, check out the Pacific Theatres 21 on Winnetka.
The organization I'm in held an event here along with 2 other orgs, and Sugar held up pretty well. the space was perfect and accommodated every individual. Also, the couches were quite comfortable!
So, I have a little place in my heart for Filipino food, as well as your average bagel and cream cheese. This place, I'd say is not at all average, but more.
I recently discovered this place with my mom, and for breakfast, we decided to try their cooking. It passed my test, only because it reminded me of my mom's cooking, as well as the 'almusal' (breakfast in tagalog) cooked in the Philippines.
The breakfast portion was perfectly sized. I ordered the corned beef with with scrambled egg whites and with that order came hash browns and toast (or a bagel, if you prefer- they aren't allowed to serve rice because it's a pastry shop... but it was still a-okay!). My mom had ordered the longanisa with over-hard eggs- she enjoyed it as well!
Their desserts/cakes are just as delicious... I highly recommend the pandan cake or the sans rival!! They're both to die for!!
I know that there is also one on the cross streets of Chatsworth and White Oak in Granada Hills... unless this is the one, and I just don't
