Enlightenment is another gift shop along Pier 39 and they specialize in cute Asian-themed gifts and accessories. I would definitely recommend stopping by and checking out what they have to offer.
The Crystal Shop is a great stop along Pier 39 if you're looking to take home some unique collectibles. They have everything from Swarovski crystal pieces to stained glass to jewelry. Everything here is absolutely beautiful!
The Candy Baron on Pier 39 has the good old fashion candy by the pound. They have possibly every type of candy you can imagine and the prices are pretty affordable. This store is a lot of fun!
Aunt Fanny's Hot Pretzels is a pretty good pretzel stand - but not any better than other pretzel stands such as Auntie Anne's, etc. One positive note is that they always make their pretzels hot and fresh in front of you so you never have to worry about wasting your money.
Turbo Ride is the virtual reality "4D" attraction at Pier 39. They have a pretty good ticket package deal that allows you to ride three different rides for a reasonable price. Some of the rides can be pretty fun while others are a bit lame.
Swiss Louis has great Italian and Seafood and has a very professional ambiance to it. If you're looking for a more formal dining experience on Pier 39, choose this place. The food is pretty good, although it is a bit pricey.
Neptune's Palace probably offers one of the better views of the bay among the restaurants along Pier 39. You can pretty much see everything from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz at this restaurant- so if you're looking for a scenic dining experience, definitely check this place out.
Another great stop at Pier 39, Pier Market Seafood Restaurant offers a superb selection of seafood entrees. Their clam chowder is award-winning! It's always busy though, so plan accordingly.
Kara's Cupcakes is the most adorable cupcake shop you will ever come across. I first came across it in Ghiradelli Square, but there are actually a couple more shop locations in the San Francisco area, such as this one. Every single one of their cupcakes is delicious in its own way -- and each cupcake is also very big, so you definitely get your money's worth. My favorite cupcakes: Kara's Karrot and Sweet Vanilla.
A M Asian Restaurant is a pretty good fusion Asian place. I went here with my family during our stay in Jacksonville, and we were pretty impressed. Many of the items on their menu are unique creations that creatively fuse different Asian food styles.
